China hits out at Western ‘colonialism’ as it backs Argentina’s claim to Falkland Islands

Published: 11:00pm, 25 Jun, 2021

The government of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) has voiced its support for Argentina’s claims over the Falkland Islands amid a diplomatic spat with the United Kingdom.

On June 24 Geng Shuang (耿爽), the PRC’s deputy permanent representative to the United Nations, said during a press conference that the PRC firmly supports Argentina’s sovereignty claims over the Malvinas [the Falklands are called Malvinas in Argentina]”.

“The Malvinas issue is basically an issue left over from the history of colonialism,” Geng said, adding that colonialism is “an extremely disgraceful page in the history of humankind”.

“Today in the 21st century, the days when Western colonialists could do whatever they wanted are over and will not return,” he said. “At the same time we must realize that in international relations colonialist thinking as well as the power politics and bullying behaviour related to it are still manifested in different forms, still severely impact the normal international order, and harm the sovereignty, security, and development rights, as well as the political, economic, and social stability of the countries concerned.”

“China’s position regarding the issue of the Malvinas has been consistent. China firmly supports Argentina’s legitimate sovereignty claims over the Malvinas,” Geng stated.

At last China is warming up to the reciprocal game.
The British hold a lot many outposts abroad, especially in the seas. Each one should be supported for independence, one at a time. If they squirm in their pants they won't have time to poke their nose into others affairs

The Chinese need to understand what the "west" and "colonialism" actually means.

In case they are not aware, 500 years ago Argentina was occupied by natives that were brown. Then white people from mainly Spain and Italy occupied Argentina and took over the land, mainly displacing the native popuation who are now a small minority in their ancestral lands.

The UK kicked out the European settlers in 1832, originally from the Spanish occupied part of S America, that later become Argentina in 1816.

Argentina has as much right to the Falklands as the UK does and might is right in this case. They had their one chance to take the Falklands in 1982 and lost and the odds are even more against them now and into the future.

If somehow Argentina manages to overcome the RAF and British Army garrison on the Islands, one or two of the below will be sent to expel them and next time the UK may not spare attacking Bueonos Aires and other cities on the S American mainland:

China should also back Scottish independence from UK and Gibraltar for Spain, and Quebec independence from Canada.
Support Alberta's independence as well.

The response will be the same as our brethren in Quebec; go fornicate yourself...and we will even throw in a sorry and seasons tickets for the Canadiens and Oilers.

But thats interferrence in Britains colonialism! On one hand China rejects our colonialism in Asia on the other hand China rejects our colonialism in South America! China is such a hypocrite! :blah:

I have never been more intrigued.

1) Lets support all the separatist movements over the globe.
2) Get a total of 850+ countries in the world.
3) Make the lives of people who travel all countries in the world on Youtube for views, very difficult. I want to see them suffer.
4) I want to see people of competitive exams cry because they will have to remember the capitals, flags, national trees, national birds and national breakfast dish of a thousand countries.
5) UN general assembly will finaly become fun.

This is the consequences of interfering in other nations' internal affair.

China has been a slow learner coming to PSYOP but it has learned although they have not reached the stage of USA and many Western Power e.g. fabricating lies, etc

And the bad news is China has begin to apply what it has learned from these hostile nations.

We reap what we sow. :coffee:

CPC has learned that trying to be nice and quiet has got nothing but attacks on China. So might as well fight back.
