if you are a honest person ,you should know the answer.yes,you did.you got enomous aid of all resources from both USSR and China,otherwise you wouldnt stand a chance fighting US.

We need weapon support, not human life support. If US didn't have allies support like Thailand-Aussie-NATO-SK etc, US counldn't fight with VN too.

why Vietnamese posters put this photo here,this is a very very famous photo in China,He is a PLA officer serving in a transportation corps in Tibet,he was so busy with his work and couldnt make it back to home to take care of his young wife when she was in in labor,his wife and the child both died in child birth.when he finally made back home he could only see their tomb and he got down on his knees trying to fight back tears.it is a very famous photo in China.why Vietnamese posters put it here??

China buys Russia, Vietnam oil as Iran supply cut

SINGAPORE, Jan 3 (Reuters) - Chinese trader Unipec paid a record premium for a February cargo of Russian crude and bought Vietnamese oil for the first time in at least a year, traders said, as the world's second-largest oil consumer looks to cover for reduced Iranian supplies.
China slashed Iranian crude imports by more than half for January as the two countries haggle over 2012 payment terms, industry sources have told Reuters. The latest deals show that the dispute could be dragging into talks for February cargoes as well.

Unipec also bought the Vietnamese crude at a near record premium for the grade in a tender by PV Oil, the trading arm of PetroVietnam.
It paid around $7.50 a barrel above dated Brent for 400,000 barrels of Vietnamese Bunga Kekwa crude to load in February, just a few cents off the highest premium fetched for the grade since it started pricing on the European marker from August last year, traders said.

haha,what makes you think you can speak for US government?US will never put its head on the block for Vietnam,not in past,not now and not in the future,they have too much stake in China,attacking China almost certainly means military and economic suicide for US.the two country economy can't live without each other,and they owe us tons of money and we hold one third of the world's total foreign reserve.they know it better than anyone else.

As Viva_Viet said Vietnam itself would be a great threat you since you are underestimating them like anything . Even if US wouldnt intervene other international bodies will not keep quiet to Chinese aggression .I know what are you thinking now . Trying to give an example . Buddy this is not 1970 its 2012 so dont beat round the bush and try some thing new . Though we/If US/NATO may not help Vietnam directly Anti Chinese Countries will make sure that the resources through Malacca strait are cut and you are likely to be attacked by any country .
