A very poor idea, Except China each India/Japan/Vietnam has their own local competitor/enemy country. What China need to do, just support or arm these enemy's enemies. BTW the supply lines between India/Japan/Vietnam r too long,also go through ur competitor's areas.

China never force India to conatain China. The problen is India always feel she is threaten by PRC. if India did not lauch that military risk in year 1962, we might have been friend for a long time. India shall understand taht any contemplate to contain China is void but only to increase the distrust between two Countries. The top priority of CHina is to ensure the safety of Pakistan, who is the only sincere friend with China in the last fifty years. India shall understand that China is too strong to be contained.
