It's a good tactic when you are catching up.

Once you get at or near the top, then you have to start inventing and others, if they are smart, will copy from you.

Don't worry about it, This design has proven in the world. sloping armour so successfuly in the battlefield if it is successful everybody can use it. Already there same design of the Cobra more than 10 in the world. Georgian, Russian, Japans, French etc. uses this design.

@xuxu1457 both pictures in your post are Otokar Cobra... Panhard VBL isn't comperable to it, Cobra has a superior armor and improved mine protection for asymmetrical warfare and Cobra is twice as heavy.

I'm with @Targon here, they have clearly copied some design features from Cobra. However if any patent rights was stolen Otokar would pursue a legal campaign, else I'm waiting for technical specifications.

Cobra designed and produced before Panhard but someone who draws an armoured vehicle must draw similar drawing because criterias and rules are same for example all 5th gen fighters are similar, we can not deny it. russian chinese and american...
