i think majority of people here doesnt know that this robo was developed by very old farmer in china.... he shown his robo and the chinese defence industry took him away may be sign deal. it was shown on tv.... The farmer said he very poor and he wish it can change his life. The dog robo he created was bit big and it was made by rust irons steels picked from junkyard.... The farmer was very old and got talent. I hope it brought him luck. i wish he multi millioner now.... He deserves it....

Anyway coming back to the topic.
I think these would probably first be looked at for military purposes before civilian use.

I'm pretty sure China is developing dog, cheetah, horse and various other robots. We have a huge love for robotics.
