China has been developing and implementing "sky trains" as part of its urban rail transit system. These sky trains operate by hanging on an air track and offer several advantages such as safety, environmental friendliness, low noise, and cost-effectiveness .

One example is the Zhongtang New Energy Sky Train Test Line, which was completed in Zhongtang sky train industrial park. This project integrates technical elements from multiple transit modes and uses new energy batteries instead of traditional power supply, reflecting a design concept focused on energy conservation and environmental protection.

In Wuhan, the first commercial sky train opened to the public in 2023. This driverless sky train operates on a 10.5 km track in Wuhan Optic Valley, reaching a maximum speed of 60km/hr.

Another innovative project is the "Red Rail," the world's first suspended maglev line. This "sky train" uses powerful magnets to float under an elevated track, even without a power supply.

These developments showcase China's advancements in urban rail transit and its commitment to creating efficient, sustainable, and innovative transportation solutions
