The Chinese Aegis is actually the parallel counterpart of the US Aegis, not a copy of it.

Nope, we got the AESA radar coupled with our Aegis system, while the US navy still relies on the PESA radar.

So it cannot be considered as stealing as it is superior to the original.

China also had developed its own aegis system, but china also had the blueprint for the U.S aegis.

mate, this link is about sm6 not BMD capable sm3, they are vastly different! upgrade to sm6 from sm2 is inline within their current system, but to be capable of firing sm3 which will need a completely set of different combat managing system

Precisely , that's what i was inferring -- SM-6 will replace the SM-2s. The SM-3s have also a powerful defensive capability. There are different variants, you should know:

Its absurd to compare with the USN. As of now, the modernization of the PLAN is in its embryonic state with ships coming out similar in capability to what the USN had decades ago.

Another half century is required to match the USN. As of now, these ships are enough to discourage foreign interference in Chinese affairs and give time for the economy to take off and mature. Another score trillion dollars is needed for the economy before anything truly remarkable comes out for the PLAN.

In the 1950s, 200,000 peasant rifleman turned back the US army in Korea. Im sure the current inventory is enough to keep the wolves at bay in 2015.

when you are on combat. I sure that your Radars can't Identify the exact place of Carrier in the Battle Group

also known to be everyone DF 21 is not a pin point accurate missile. whose CEP is 25 meters

first you can test a DF 21 against any moving target ship.
