What's new

China carries out land-based mid-course missile interception test

It's within China's territory and it is ABOVE the atmosphere (other words "in the space").

And It's not "something no other country has ever achieved". The US has done it maybe decades before.

No I didn't mean it emulated Strypi. Something more may be.

Guidance system clone of each other giving same flight path. :D

Then you understand that there can be no value to an interception test. Try to get the meaning of the word Interception first.

Did you hear the explosion sound recorded on the video tape? I don't know whether a mere interception in the upper atmosphere could make such a sound effect audible from the ground? The sound effect was like a huge explosion in the upper atmosphere.
it depends on the DV the videomaker have.
the sound doesnt mean anything. the sound from some crikets in this video is far louder and clearer than the sound of explosion.

1. The camcorder was static and was filming a fixed direction which means the camcorder knew beforehand where the explosion would take place. There may a several such camcorders to film the explosion but this camcorder recording appears to be the one that could be made public.

2. The camcorder recorded the noise that the crickets were creating and so it proves it was surrounded by bushes where crickets dwell at night.

3. I could hear two explosions at the end and both of them appear to be huge explosions. Going by thew nature of them, they didn't sound an interception test explosion in far far far away in the upper atmosphere, if not above.

4. Two types of radiant halo were seen and the last one was extraordinary. Both the diameters of the circles of the radiant halos look like the blast wave expanded hundreds of kms, if not more.

Can a mere interception test explosion create these features?

瞧瞧这痣伤!
i feel shaken by the 能吏 of 淫毒淫 judging news.

@isro2222, any reason why such light appeared?

Missile defense only proves credible when your enemy doesn't possess MIRV's or have advanced re-entry vehicle technology like China's MARV. Lets be honest here if the big 3 (Russia/US/China) get into a nuclear war with so and so everyone is screwed whether or not missile interceptors work because of the fact advancement of missile technology throughout the years (Russia's Topol-M only uses 1 RV but is designed to fool and evade interception systems, China's newer DF-31/41 missiles have this tech too.) It's sort of a see-saw balance of deterrence if you want to put it that way.

The OP's video footage shows two huge blast waves with diameters of hundreds of kms length in the space, if not more. There may be a midcourse interception but this footage is of more than an interception.

First blast wave.

Second blast wave.

there is a mistake of the Chinese member who posted this video, as this one is not Chinese mid-course interception but a terminal phase interception did by the U.S, As the original threads from CJDBY quoted this american video in comparison with the Chinese one which tested yesterday

正好验证一下三三的判断力。令人崩溃啊。
讲出来就不好玩了:cheers:

到时候又说我们拷贝米蒂的‘电影’的····他们虽傻但也不会这么傻啊

Post interception shockwave is not just simple explosion. This looks something much more.
