I think the chopper is a good size for, say, sending rescue teams into disaster areas after natural disaster (hint Sichuan).

The maiden flight of AC313 helicopter is scheduled in mid March. It's partially associated to Z-8 body shape. Its max take-off weight is 13.8 tonnes and ferry range 900kms.

I googled the name and the pictures came up. I am not 100% sure it is it, but from the description of it in the article, it seems about right.

It seems like a good helicopter, i think Iran should stop buying large helicopters from Russia and buy them from China instead to punish them for taking their time on the Bushehr nuclear power plant and the S-300 deliveries.
