China backs Turkey to overcome its economic crisis

China is the latest country to offer some comforting words to President Recep Erdogan, as Turkey experiences a currency meltdown and a tariff spat with the U.S.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lu Yi said China believes that Turkey has the "ability to overcome temporary economic difficulties," according to a translated statement placed on the ministry's website Friday. He hoped that all parties concerned would resolve their differences through dialogue.

His comments follow a reported phone call this week between Erdogan and Angela Merkel, with the German chancellor offering to strengthen ties between the two nations.

Turkey's currency plummeted 20 percent against the greenback in a single trading day last Friday after President Donald Trump announced a doubling of steel and aluminum tariffs on Ankara, in return for the country's continued detention of American pastor Andrew Brunson.

Russian President Vladimir Putin was one of the first people Erdogan called on that day, increasing speculation that the Turkish leader is moving closer to Moscow as relationships with the U.S crumble. The embattled nation has also seen generosity from Qatar with the Gulf nation pledging $15 billion worth of investment on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, state-owned banking giant The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) reportedly lent $3.6 billion to Turkey back in July — said to be a loan for the energy and transportation sector. When asked about the investment by reporters, Lu Yi said that China has always attached importance to the economic, trade and financial ties it has with Turkey.

The country's officials would always support Chinese and Turkish companies signing cooperation projects based on market rules, he added.

China has Uighur syndrome so I don't take them seriously as far as Turkey is concerned.

China has Uighur syndrome so I don't take them seriously as far as Turkey is concerned.

The citizens of Turkey are 90% Byzantine converts to Islam. Barely any Central Asian Turks, much like Azerbaijan. They speak Turkic, that is about it.

The Ottomans would care about what is happening in China because they are part of the 10% non-Byzantine converts to Islam.

Turkish citizens caring about and crying over what China is doing to a Chinese minority - Uighur Turks is like Native Americans in Canada crying over the Irish treating the British badly in Northern Ireland. And then asked why, the Native Americans say they Native Americans speak the English language and those that speak English must stick together.

The Byzantines graciously and rightly accepted the Muslim religion, but to identify as ethnic Turks when 90% of them have maleline ancestors going back to the Roman Empire, needs to be addressed. Erdogan once stated he was of Georgian origin, then had to clarify he was a Turk. Of course he is a Turk, he is living in Turkey and identifies as a citizen of Turkey, not some traitorous minority like many of the Kurds. But Erdogan is no Ottoman or someone from Central Asia. Erdogan's ancestors were part of the Byzantine Empire and before that Roman Empire and before that probably some Greek colonist. This is the history of most in Turkey.

May Erdogan be the new Sultan, the native Sultan of Turkey. He is far better than any of the Kamalists.

There is an currency crisis rather than an economic crisis in Turkey..
Turkish govermental dept is one of the most less one country..(28% as to GDP)...
Household depts is low and reasonable...

Economig growing going on..may be 4-5% in 2018.

Problems:
-Attacks on TL
-High foreign depts of Turkish banks and large companies to EU banks
-Foreign Trade deficit due to totaly dependency on importing energy...
-Manupulating and Decreasing intentionally Turkish credit rate by West credit rating agencies in order to increasing Turkish credit cost in international financial markets.

Greece govermental dept to GDP 280%
Turkish goverment dept to GDP 28%

But US credit rating agencies lowered Turkish international credit rate at Greece level.
