China backs Trump’s mediation offer on Kashmir issue

India has broken shimla agreement by rejecting bilateral engagement with Pakistan on Kashmir issue. Hence International involvement or if that fails a full blown armed struggle in Kashmir is Pakistan's right in pursuance of solving Kashmir issue.

Pakistan violated the Shimla agreement repeatedly with first the jihadist movement which is ongoing and with the Kargil misadventure in 1999.

Err.....Modi just did. Behind the curtain, like a little kid who can't handle the situation himself and tries to get his older brother involved, hoping that no one will find out and see him as the wimp he is. So how about we ask him first?

It's already been officially denied that any such involvement is sought. Think of it logically, a country which does not even give Pakistan a bilateral discussion on Kashmir, why would it want to include a third party. Status Quo suits us just fine in Kashmir.

Hahahaha.....C'mon bud.

Well @manga seems to believe that it's because India is scared of dealing with Pakistan bilaterally. Can't blame them either. Whatever pretense they had of their 'military might' backing their position fizzled out a few months ago, India obviously needs outside help.

Doesn't make sense. Even if what you said were to be true, though it certainly isn't, and India doesn't feel as militarily confident against Pakistan as before, how does it help India having a third party involved ? Status Quo suits India in Kashmir. Third party involvement suits a country which wants to change the status quo, which is Pakistan in this case and that is reflected by consistent Pakistani requests for third party involvement in Kashmir.

India on the backfoot. Who is India's friend? US? Russia? Lol none.

What I love about Modi's India is that their foreign policy has failed repeatedly over last 5 years. And they have created this illusion that all is well. After a decade they ll realize the blunders, esp once BJP gets kicked out of office which doesnt look possible for next 10-15 years.
