What's new

China 1992, India 2012

LOL, anything to make themselves feel better. Meanwhile, here are the facts.

1990 - China GDP : India GDP - 1 : 1
2000 - China GDP : India GDP - 2 : 1
2010 - China GDP : India GDP - 4 : 1

Rather than them "catching up" (as Indians love to convince themselves), the numbers actually show them falling further and further behind.

It's not hard to see why. China has been able to sustain double-digit growth for three decades, with a base economy four times larger than India's.

India meanwhile, has constantly tried and failed to achieve sustained double-digit growth. Latest data shows India growing at around 6.9%, slower than Turkey/Argentina/Sri Lanka etc. Contrary to the Indian dreams of being the "second fastest growing major economy in the world".
Wow u noob head go check yes India did slow so did china but indias economic indicators were still better than the countries yoU mentioned.
Chinese will do anything to please themselves:lol:

.
LOL, you are not behind anyone in terms of your space program?

China sent a human being into space in 2003.

India will only begin to start the selection of astronauts for their space program in 2020, and even that is optimistic, considering the poor organizational skills of India (Commonwealth Games). And that is just for "selection", it will likely take several more years for them to actually get into space.

As for innovation, please refer to both of the Global Innovation Indexes.

Global Innovation Index - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaP

For the record, both these indexes place China at a significantly higher level than India, and we are moving upwards too. While India is in fact falling downwards in the ranks.

Innovation index lol I wish there was a copy index ...you would have outnumbered the entire world
From weapons to eateries to gadget shops cucci for gucci UFO kmc what not for kfc coma lama fume what not for puma hence you got max patents..lol at these chinese' menta
Masturbation they went absconding in that rip off thread..innovation..yeah we know that's why chini quality has such a reputation in the world

.
And I guess communism teaches people to exaggerate the numbers and act like braggarts.

LOL! Nice entertainment!

But don’t tell us all democracy is as imbecilic as your India’s that communism can teach the democratic European Commission to produce the following document:
http://epp.eurostat.ec.europa.eu/cache/ITY_OFFPUB/KS-SF-09-025/EN/KS-SF-09-025-EN.PDF

So no deal then?

First agree on Chinese papers being three times more crap than the Indian ones and then I ll talk you through the table. K?

Cr@p is only on paper, and can not be turned into tangible values.

China transformed much more its R&D into money than India did.

From Fig.3 (2006) of above European document, China high-tech export is about 16.9% of world market share and is the number 1, whereas democratic India is nowhere to find, because the latter produces mostly cr@p. No?

.
Thanks for the info but the main article is not saying that India is better than China. All that is being expressed is the authors view of how India is developing via viz China during the same period of growth and reform.

Buddy, did you really read?

I'm responding to the hallucinated guy, the pot-smoker, not the main article.

How is your post a correct reply to mine? Or you just keep a chunk of articles with you to shoot on some threads? You are off topic mostly and don't make sense almost every time you post just like your Chinese bros:lol:

Contrary to your claim, Chinese are not doing anything to please themselves. The world has recognized China's achievements.

Can't say the same for India. You're the hypocrites who are constantly self-congratulating yourselves while the Western world looks down on India's "abject poverty" (see the citation from The Economist's most-recommended comment).

You need a reality check
Internet is full of articles and publishing that praises india in many aspects, you yourself are the witness of indias grown importance in the last decade(if you are grown enough?) but for your china pride you'll negate all that.
Similarly Internet is full of appreciation as well as trash or china, you want me to post?(I guess you know it yourself )
Get off your excited horse and see around;)

I can see you are unaware of Britain's leading business magazine, The Economist. Typical ignorant Indian.

The Economist - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"The Economist is an English-language weekly news and international affairs publication owned by The Economist Newspaper Ltd. and edited in offices in London.[1][2] Continuous publication began under founder James Wilson in September 1843. For historical reasons The Economist refers to itself as a newspaper, but each print edition appears on small glossy paper, like a news magazine and its YouTube channel is called EconomistMagazine.[3] In 2009, it reported an average circulation of just over 1.6 million copies per issue,[4] above half of which are sold in North America and English speaking countries.[5]"

Its simple you introduced reforms in 1970s and we did it in 90s so the growth phase which you got into in 90s we achieeved the same in 2000s. So in the long run if we are able to maintain current rate then its not a problem

1990 Netherlands GDP : India GDP 1:1
2010 Netherlands GDP : India GDP 1:2

You seem to be proud of the fact the your country sustained a double digit growth rate but on the cost of what ??
Here are some examples
Avg salary of Indian teacher 700$ in China its between 400-600$
Similarly and avg Indian engineer is paid twice the amount as compared to a Chinese one

So as far as my views are concerned a country's assets are its people and they should be catered well rather than dictating them to work harder and harder for penny so as to generate 'NUMBERS/growth figures' for nation.

What you posted 70s-90s stuff is not the excuse for your failure. What you posted is the result of your failure.

So…what?

So, China is always one step ahead of India?

So, the Chinese is always smarter than the Indians?

So, the Chinese authoritarian system has better vision than your democracy?

If so, why don't you trash your copy/pasted UK system and adopt the Chinese system so as to be more far-sighted?

Chinese GDP (PPP) per capita is about 2+ times of India’s. How could the Chinese earn less?

Check this out, buddy:

China tops India on average pay

Financial analysts in India earn less than their Chinese peers
Skilled workers earn more in China than in India,
a new survey of pay in two of the world's fastest growing economies has revealed.
Project managers are paid twice as much in China than in India, according to human resources consultants Mercer.

Software engineers, sales staff, financial analysts and factory workers all earn more in China than India.

But average pay is rising faster in India and could surge further if demand for skilled workers outstrips supply.

Relocation factor

Mercer said wage differentials were one factor for multinational companies to consider when deciding where to base their operations.

AVERAGE ANNUAL PAY-CHINA
Project manager: £12,173
Software engineer: £6,998
Accountant: £4,677
Sales rep: £2,649
Production worker: £1,214
Source: Mercer Human Resource Consulting

A string of US and European companies have relocated services to India because of its skilled workforce and low-wage costs.

At the same time, many firms - particularly in the financial services industry - are looking to establish a presence in China.

According to Mercer, the average annual salary of a Chinese project manager is £12,173, compared to about £5,220 in India.

AVERAGE ANNUAL PAY-INDIA
Project manager: £5,220
Software engineer: £5,344
Accountant: £2,956
Sales rep: £2,464
Production worker: £964
Source: Mercer Human Resource Consulting

Accountants earn £4,677 in China compared to £2,956 in India while Chinese sales reps are paid £2,649 compared to £2,464 in India.

Even at the lowest end of the pay scale, skilled factory workers in China earn nearly £300 more a year than their Indian counterparts.

Competitive advantage

"While it is far cheaper to employ staff in both China and India than Europe or the US, India appears to have the advantage of slightly lower wage costs," said Mark Sullivan, worldwide partner at Mercer.

However, wage inflation is rising faster in India as demand for skilled workers for executive roles continues to outstrip the amount of suitable candidates.

Salaries rose by an average of 11.5% a year in India in the past five years compared to 7.5% in China.

And more recently this:

Now, why can't you guys stop finding excuses for your failure, but find fixes for it?

Please don't let down democracy.

. .
From my perspective both are doing great economic wise. why do you guys compare countries which have two different opposite ideological governments. I can give negatives of both countries and yet can find enough positiveness in both of them. India started late and tbh has really really screwed up infrastructure and some really messed up new roads and cleaniness is a BIG issue for you guys. China on the other hand also has issues human rights violation and so on. In conclusion both have problems both trying to solve in both are bloody corrupt and they are growing at a good rate in bad economic conditions so kuddos to both countries. May future be bright for two old civilizations...

and your claim of Internet China bashing is another prove of China's amazing achievement, because you only finding losers and pathetic people ranting and bashing those strong ones as U.S is the number.1 target of that 'bashing category'
