PLA has its 1000 helo in its inventory. Hope you dont get heart attack. Becos this 1000 helo excludes PLAN own helo.

Most of PLA helo are Mi-17 and Z-8A which are far larger and roomy than US army black hawk.

PLA is not far from US army in terms of troops transport to battlefield by helo.

The celebration titile write: " 陆军第1000架直升机授装仪式 / Army (Army Aviation) 1,000th Helo Serving Ceremony", i believe i have no any problem to understand these Chinese words in the photo. Right now these 1,000 helos serving in PLA Army Aviation r EC-120 / S-70 / Mi-171 / Z-8 / Z-9 / Z-11 / WZ-9 / WZ-10 / WZ-19 ... future if China can mass produce Z-20, the numbers for Army Aviation will increase. And i read another Chinese military news from PLA official website, also say the 1,000th helo serving.
