Although Pakistan didn't make in top 8 of Tekken World Tour finals, but the whole year they had a good showing and great run. The world is now recognizing the Pakistan Esports scene especially the Pakistan fighting game esport scene.

In my opinion the tournaments format wasn't optimal(but one could say I am looking for reasons). The thing is there were 20 players and they were divided into four groups and top two of each group made it top 8. Why not have all top 20 contest each other instead putting them in groups? and then top 8 should progress, that way its more fair.

Or if you really want to make groups, why make 4 and not two? Atleast that is more fairer than group of 4's. Dota 2 International's format looks much fairer than what we had for tekken. But again, I wouldn't have been making this comment if a Pakistani had won.

No it's a victory. We put 3 Pakistanis there in our first year. This tournament was much more tougher then the previous ones.
But have to congratulate Knee. Ever since his first defeat in GCC he has been neck and neck against each other. He even came to Pakistan to learn. Well deserved victory fo him.

And how many times did Arsalan beat Knee in major matches? One victory isnt much, of course having said that Knee is one of the greatest Tekken players and I love to watch him play.
Furthermore we need to send more Pakistani tekken players in such tournaments. The format for this event wasnt very optimal, however Chikurun was damn good. Lot of people commenting that Koreans are back on the top, ignoring the fact that Pakistanis had dominated pretty much every Tekken tournament this whole year.
