What's new

Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Pakistan Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu is on an official visit to Turkey

its a rafale patch but means nothing lol
not necessarily. Since PAF pilots do work for QEAF, entirely possible that they made different teams with pilots mixed across where a PAF pilot flew the rafale and Qatari pilot flew the JF17...Thunders should be easy to fly for an F16 or rafale pilot.

Is it possible despite being different platforms don't they require training on the new platform first

maybe that the Qatari pilots did not fly the Thunder but the PAF and Turkish pilots did fly the rafale; both Turkey and Pakistan are hunting rafales after all while Qataris don't have a real adversary that flies the Thunder...so makes sense.

Yes from that point of view it makes sense

Sir, you know it all too well how such previous endeavors turned out to be. Thanks to Sohail Aman for the op cleanup.
Hope this is different.

I'm really curious.
What DID happen the last time?
