Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), General Khalid Shameem Wynne, who is an official visit to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was awarded King Abdul Aziz Medal of Excellence.

The award was conferred on CJCSC by His Royal Highness Prince Khalid Bin Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz, Assistant to Minister of Defence on Behalf of King Abdullah Bin Abdul　Aziz.

Riyadh - January 23, 2011:

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), General Khalid Shameem Wynne, who is on an official visit to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, spent a busy day here at Riyadh, meeting top civil and military leadership.

The　most important meeting of the day was with the Crown Prince, Defence Minister of Saudi Arabia, His Royal Highness, Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz. During the meeting Crown Prince reiterated that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have deep rooted relations and we will always stand by our brothers. CJCSC thanked the Crown Prince for his kind words, and wished him good health. General Wynne also wished early recovery and good health for Custodian of two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.

CJCSC also held a separate meeting with His Royal Highness, Prince Khalid Bin Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz, Assistant to Minister of Defence, and discussed various matters related to future bilateral cooperation. Highlighting the time tested and enduring bonds of friendship between Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, Prince Khalid underscored the importance for further enhancing Defence Cooperation between the two countries.

Earlier on arrival at General Staff Headquarters, CJCSC had a collective meeting with Chief of General Staff, H.E. General Saleh Bin Ali Bin Muhammad Al-Mohayya, alongwith all the Services Chiefs of Saudi Armed Forces, and discussed various means to enhance bilateral defence cooperation between the Armed Forces of both countries.

Commander Royal Brunei Armed Forces calls on General Khalid

RAWALPINDI, February 01(APP): Major General Haji Aminuddin Ihsan Bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces who is visiting Pakistan along with his entourage called on Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), General Khalid Shameem Wynne at Joint Staff Headquarters, Chaklala and discussed bilateral military ties between Brunei and Pakistan.

General Wynne expressed satisfaction over the ongoing defence cooperation between the two countries and discussed ways to further augment these ties in future. Both senior officers also exchanged views on the current regional security environment.

General Jeremiah Mutinda Kianga Chief of General Staff of Kenyan Defence Forces, Republic of Kenya currently on an official visit to Pakistan, visited Joint Staff Headquarters Chaklala today and met General Khalid Shameem Wynne, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC). He remained with CJCSC for sometime and discussed matters of professional interest and evolving geo-strategic situation of the region. The visiting dignitary appreciated the efforts made by Pakistan Armed Forces in stabilizing the security matrix.

On arrival at the Joint Staff Headquarters Commander Kenyan Defence Forces was presented guard of honour by smartly turned out contingent of Tri Services.
