Well if you want to know my opinion regarding this issue :

Islamic economy system = Controlled Capitalism (the boundaries is Quran and Hadist)

Islamic government = Controlled Democracy (the boundaries is Quran and Hadist)

How well the system run will be determined by how good the knowledge and understanding of Muslim people who will translate all of the principles (Quran, Hadist, Economics,Politics) into action.

Who said capitalism is founded by The West ?? What they founded is just Economic Liberalism.
Who said the democracy is founded by the Greek ?? Still debatable. There is theory that Sumeria civilization who created that.

Counter to Inflation: ......You can't control WHOLE Commodity by paying only its DOWNPAYMENT
You cant sell Product from Person A to Person B without Purchasing it full,
Manipulation is not allowed in Islamic system, controlling the commodity by its down-payment and acting as intermediary results in speculation & surge in Price (fake Pricing).

Western history is reasonably well documented going back to the Greeks, so it is customary to assign ownership of various concepts to Greeks. It may be true in many cases, or it may have been borrowed from earlier cultures. In any case, as Eastern cultures rise from the residue of colonialism and start rediscovering their history, we will surely find more clues.

Did you even read my reply ? Islamic countries did not adopt the Islamic Economic Systems, probably the closest country to the Islamic Economic System values is Saudi Arabia, the fact is Capitalism doesn't work and it's in decline, whether you accept to believe it or not.

What is the "Islamic Economic System" and why don't Muslim countries practice it? Especially Saudi Arabia since it is home to the two holiest Islamic Cities??

socialism has failed and now capitalism is beginning to lose support from the people even if people in high places around the world support capitalism in time it will follow socialism but the important question is what is next
also the bad effects of globalization is all around us not just in 3rd world countries as the wealthy westerners are stealing their resources in the west as they are losing jobs to 3rd world nations because businesses will always look for the cheaper labor and millions of immigrants are coming to them every year not to mention every country in the world is losing culture and identity and the worst thing is every nation in the world are effected one way or another with mistakes the US does as the USD is the international currency
