For those who don't understand these projects. These Corridors are just attempts by the government to monetize land and make it available to private sector for development and manufacturing. There are huge problems in replicating such china style development model:

1. India doesn't have enough financing and banking sector in India needs reform.
2. Land acquisition will lead to massive delays in almost all sectors.
3. India doesn't produce enough steel, cement and construction equipment neither does any company in India has enough expertise in designing and executing such complex construction projects. Most of the contracts will go to foreign companies.


if executed properly these projects have the potential to make India a real powerhouse and bring in massive knowledge and economic growth. But if................

People from Assam do not even have voter id's. Introducing of aadhar card was followed by massive protest by a community which were afraid they cannot import in more secular voters from the neighboring country.

neither does any company in India has enough expertise in designing and executing such complex construction projects. Most of the contracts will go to foreign companies.

Does not matter,the main aim of these type of projects is to establish India as a manufacturing hub and create enough employment oppurtuniyies.....

JICA is only financing the trunk infrastructure not the entire corridor. I am not sure of your knowledge on this project.
