I know a lot of Punjabis that don't really know Punjabi.

is that punjabi?looks a bit diff from hindi.if entire punjabi is as diff to hindi as in these posts,i can appreciate punjabis for so fluent in hindi.(anyway in this case i understood both Q&A bcoz of the word samaj.
Can even an illiterate punjabi speak colloquial hindi as fluently as a literate punjabi?

i asked a ques regarding the closeness of punjabi and hindi and no punjabi here is willing to answer.shame on u punjabis.you ask a south indian anything abt his language and see how happily he answers ur ques.that is called taking pride in ur identity.

Pakistani punjabi don't speak hindi with punjabi, ask the sardarni.
