Referring to usable, new weapons for example stolen NATO equipment. As some member's stated that they are already taken for use.

Agreed hand over to police most of usa M1 rifles when we use our minds wasting things which should not and using those should have been wasted

Referring to genuine, usable weapons. Some of these equipment's are quite expensive i am sure usable material is harvested. The rest is destroyed.

The fit for use weapons are kept safe rest do not have reliability and can be harmful to the user.

A vast majority of them are black market knock offs, that would do more harm to the user than good. Better they're destroyed than stored.
