Each have their own advantage and disadvantage. Nominal tells about the strength of an economy while PPP says about living standards and size of the market. Both are used by World Bank and IMF to compare economies.

BRICS is an emerging power and i am not telling BRICS bank overtakes WB,IMF blah blah.Just i can show case internatonal ranking by countries which shows what importance for some G7 countries are in world stage compared to some brics countries !

Okay, i'm done here. i have no intention of repeating all these topics in 2015, as i've debated all of this extensively with Chinese back in 2012 when i joined. They came around and got back to real ground, i'm sure you Indians will as well, given some time.

Hypocritical comparisons.
First ito comes up with PPP as measure of international weight as opposed to nominal (because PP suits Russians and ito better) and now, you're comparing small members with heavyweights. Go compare EU (member of G7) to China, or BRICS in whole. Or US....or Germany to India, or Italy to India. These are fairer comparisons.

You don't get butthurt, as i showed you because of some of members in G7 and some of members in non G7 countries made the current G7 countries not that much weightage in current world stage.If you want to ignore just ignore, it does not change the reality

No mate, you picked the only(!) engine of BRICS (in which G7 countries have trillions invested btw) and put it next to a country that has had a government change on average every year for the last 50 years (Italy).

Steel, cement, coal, iron.....all things we exported to China to make. Some to Turkey which is largest cement producer in region now.

Gold we are buying back at Asian levels since last year. And we are moving to items that consume less and less of electricity and oil.

MOSCOW: The 5-nation BRICS group today signed an agreement to create a USD 100 billion pool of foreign- exchange reserves to help each other "in case of any problems with dollar liquidity", with India chipping in USD 18 billion.

Remove China and BRICS is a joke, considering that almost half of the world reside in the BRICS countries, G7 has less than a third as many people in the BRICS countries, im sure it will be G8 again soon enough though.

We are witnessing the Chinese share market now. Half of the listed shares are not traded now. Chinese economic might bubble is busting.
