Move comes in after PM Imran Khan meeting with Bajwa and ISI chief yesterday
Ban is being enforced under 1997 -11B terrorism act law. This is major move and perhaps looks like the end of TLP. Their assests will be freezed as well, bank accounts, can't contest in elections anymore.
Combine mad fanatics and supposed ishq e rasool without any sound knowledge and recipe is disaster for sure.

I just hope they don't become a TTP.

Most people genuinely want to be good. They want to learn religion. But the molvis of today are no different to what the church clergy was a few hundred years ago. They are manipulative. They are exploitative and they abuse children in madrassas. Then people give them the power and they fully abuse that power hiding behind religion. Nothing new
I agree with the analogy, you are brave using it here, I wouldn't have used it on here, as people seem to get their knickers in a twist and get far too triggered. On the whole religions evolve with time and so do cultures. Albeit its a painful process, when I see the bloodshed in Iraq, Syria and Yemen the history books remind of the bloodshed in Europe between Catholics and Protestants. It was only once the church's powers were curbed and they were thrown out of the governance system that Europe truly progressed. The same is happening in the Muslim world.

My personal opinion is that the time when clergy was actually involved in governance was a time of Kings, Sultans and Khalifa's. Those times are long gone. Religion has no place in politics, one is sacred and one is based on deceit and manipulation.

Yeah, luckily they kicked out the Church for provoking WW1 and WW2 ......oh wait...

It would be easier if they did, it will finally make everyone see who the enemy is.

This is the type of faction if left unchecked can develop into an engineered insurrection and your enemies would love for that to happen. Dealing with these groups now will ensure a check mate when the real games begin.

The world knows Pakistanis have a soft spot, an apathy towards religious extremism, its like a drug for them. And I keep seeing "western master", what about their "arab masters"? At least in the west we can marry their women and can be paid just as much as them. What about Saudi? Pakistanis are banned from marrying their women and are glorified slave workers. The disrespect is unbelievable.

Do you know how many of our girls are taken away to Dubai to be sex workers? Is that our f**king destiny? Where is TLP on this issue? Why only stooges for one school of thought?

Our aims are far far higher and there are more of us than them now, crush the traitors.

Its an absolute tragedy that you are intelligent enough to construct your message in such good English yet at the same time you are completely void of any sense of reality & logic.

If anything the forum member that you quoted in your post ought to be thanked for stating out the cold, hard facts & reality that many of us aren’t willing to put in to words.

At the very least you are an absolutely naive individual & I don’t want to think about the worst.

Do you even realise how Left of the far left you sound in that comment of yours & to make it worse you have the picture of a Nazi German General in your profile & you are commenting in support of a religiously bigoted crowd ? I bet the irony is lost on you.

Rommel was not a Nazi i guess you bunked your history classes.
"Rommel was not a member of the Nazi Party.[85] Rommel and Hitler had a close and genuine, if complicated, personal relationship. Rommel, as other Wehrmacht officers, welcomed the Nazi rise to power.[669][104] Numerous historians state that Rommel was one of Hitler's favorite generals and that his close relationship with the dictator benefited both his inter-war and war-time career.[106][670][104] Robert Citino describes Rommel as "not apolitical" and writes that he owed his career to Hitler, to whom Rommel's attitude was "worshipful",[641] with Messenger agreeing that Rommel owed his tank command, his hero status and other promotions to Hitler's interference and support.[641][671][N 23]"
I am sorry to say my friend it is the other way. Religion has got way TOO much attention. But subjects like how build cars, tanks, aircraft, space rockets has been neglected.

The trillion dollar question here is what exactly is "properly". My definition, your definition, Saad Rizvi's definition etc etc.

I think with three dead, hospitals attacked and all this during a pandemic goes beyond "right to protest". I already alluded to "protest" in the mother of all democracies and how they have handled it. And you call me "primitive" while supporting a picture of a Nazi general responsible for one of histories murderous regimes.
Lol Rommel was not responsible for that regime even a quick google search would help to show how Rommel began to hate Hitler.
"Rommel's letters to his wife show his mood fluctuating wildly regarding Hitler: while he showed disgust towards the atrocities and disappointment towards the situation, he was overjoyed to welcome a visit from Hitler, only to return to depression the next day when faced with reality.[680]"

Imran Khan have same ideology as TLP. Their demands are just as per PTI manifesto.

Now hopefully they will be hunted as Pakistan Hunt terrorist's. And their won't be any distinction of achay or buray terrorists.

Every time the State has engaged with the TLP peacefully, the TLP has returned with more and more ridiculous demands and more and more violence on the streets.

The responsibility lies with the TLP to commit to ending violent protests and blocking roads etc.

The right to protest simply means just that - you can protest and present your demands.

There is no 'right to have your demands implemented' via protest.

So if the State does not accept your demands after a peaceful protest, the TLP should STFU and wait for the next elections and see if it can win enough seats to form a government and THEN try to implement its own demands.
That precedent was set by the sitting govt itself while they were in the opposition. Either it was PTM or TLP IK was more than eager to adopt them along with their ideology. So now when these birds are coming home to roost STFU and either accept your idiocy and make amends or reap what you have sown.

Either way Govt has to take steps with all major parties and stakeholders on board. We can't play this ping pong forever. I have no intention or inclination of giving in to arm twisting be it TLP or some other party. But you have to make decisions smartly. Knee jerk reactions will only make it harder.
