This goes on show the deepening bilateral relations between two nations.
.
Indians today are the largest ethnicity in UAE, and UAE is one of the biggest investors in India.

I knew this was coming.
Since Modi's visit last year the headlines in the newspapers(UAE) are always in India's favour, including that of the recent attacks.

Friendship between Muslim countries and India should put a lid to the nonsense that has been doing rounds (Modi killed ****, India ruled by Hindu **** etc etc ).

About the man who is planning to visit India-Sh Mohammed bin zayed, he's supposed to be a very down to earth prince whose pragmatic approach kept Abudhabi floating even during the recession. On many occasions this man has been spotted without his security cover on the streets.
Do not confuse him with Sh Mohammed bin Rashid, crown prince of Dubai who gets more media coverage.
Btw he's also the defence minister of UAE.
Is UAE planning to sign some defence deal with India? Lol

After Obama and Hollande I guess this feels a little anti-climatic but I'm sure there are strategic reasons for this choice and there aren't very many world leaders that can match/top the stature of the aforementioned.

But yeah, I've to respect their religion, which is fine with me.

Why would it make a difference if they have democracy or not? That is their internal issue which India will not comment on. Business is business, India has plenty of interests with the UAE and will seek to deepen its ties with every nation it can.

Why should I?
There are times I wished India wasn't a democracy.
Everything comes with its pros and cons.

If they expect me to respect their religion then I don't think it's wrong to expect that from the expats who live here. You gotta respect the laws of land.
As long as my private space is being respected and I'm given a good salary ,you won't see me complaining. Lol
