Jeash al-Adl has stated that they released the remaining hostages after an intervention by Sunni scholars and clerics from Iran, no deal was cut with them. The hostages are confirmed to have been taken over the border to Pakistan where Jeash al-Adl operates from.

On February 6, the so-called Jaish-ul-Adl terrorist group kidnapped five Iranian border guards in Jakigour region in Iran’s southeastern province of Sistan and Balouchestan and took them to Pakistan, where they are believed to be still held hostage.

As diplomatic efforts are underway to release the Iranian soldiers, Al Arabiya news agency claimed on Friday that the notorious terrorist group has set the abductees free.

Al Arabiya has quoted Abdol Raouf Rigi, one of the infamous terrorist group’s members, as saying that the Jaish-ul-Adl has freed the Iranian border guards.

Meanwhile, an Iranian official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told the Tasnim News Agency on Friday that the Islamic Republic would not confirm the release of the soldiers as long as the country establishes contact with them.

He noted that a whole host of Iranian organizations are working round the clock to secure the release of the five soldiers.

1-The prisoners were released on the appeals of Sunni scholars.
2-The prisoners were handed over to the delegation of sunni scholars who subsequently handed them over to Iranian authorities.
3-Iranian authorities released 8 Jaish prisoners in return.

A day after news emerged that five Iranian border guards kidnapped from the area near Pakistan-Iran border had been freed, a spokesperson for Frontier Corps (FC) in Balochistan said on Saturday rejected the notion that the kidnapped guards were present on Pakistani soil, Radio Pakistan reported.



He further said that the guards were released inside Iran after mediation by an elder of the Shah Bakhsh tribe.

Earlier on Friday, Iranian border guards captured by Jaishul Adl rebels near the border were freed, the extremist group and an Iranian official said.

According to a media report, however, only four of the five abducted men were handed over to Iranian officials in Pakistan alive. They were accompanied by the body of the fifth, which the rebels said last month they had executed.

“The soldiers were handed over some hours ago by the small terrorist group Jaishul Adl to Iranian representatives in Pakistan,” said the Fars news agency, quoting an unidentified security official.



Pakistani officials could not confirm the release. “They have not been released in Pakistan. We don’t know where they were kept or released. We have no indication that these Iranian border guards were kept in Pakistan,” Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam told Reuters.

If Pakistan had the money, balls and competence they wouldnt be subjugated and let US drop bombs on Pakis on a regular basis.
And why is that? Because Pakistan security apparatus is too incompetent to deal with domestic terrorists so they willingly invite Uncle Sam to drone Pakistanis. And poor civilians often get the taste of the US shoe.
How about that?
US does not even have to sacrifice or put its own soldiers at risk, but just have to push a button. And then KABOOM, some dead Pakistani civilians. And the Pakistani government says what? "Thank you, can I have another one?"

Pakistani soldiers are getting it from both ends. Taliban killing your soldiers, and then US doing it also in occasional "accidents".
