BREAKING: Iran successfully launches 1st military satellite into orbit!

.
It's hard and complex but they did it, they have been experimenting solid stuffs lately and several testing scenario has been posted before..

It's a fruit of their hard works for several years.

And we appreciate that..

Basic difference between liquids and solids:

Liquids can be throttled to a certain speed or turned off so they give more flexibility than solids. NASA/ULA is solid, SpaceX is liquid.

SpaceX can change the speed of their liquid rocket and throttle it up or down. This is why SpaceX can land their rockets but NASA can't. To land a rocket, you have to be able to change the throttle very quickly and then turn it all the way off when you land. You can only change throttle and speed with liquid rockets which SpaceX has. When NASA and ULA launch, they use solids but once they launch, they cannot throttle or change speed much, because once you ignite solids, you cannot turn it off so you have to keep going until solid runs out of fuel. The reason NASA and ULA use solids is because they produce more power and can carry heavier payloads. Liquids don't produce as much power so they cannot carry very heavy stuff. SpaceX lands their rockets and throttle to change speed so they use liquids which give flexibility. NASA and ULA specialize in carrying heavy stuff into space so they need solids for extra power.

For solids, timing has to be perfect because once you ignite a solid, you cannot turn it off. So you have to launch at exactly the right time and burn exactly long enough to reach the orbit window. Too slow and you miss it, too fast and you pass it. Liquids can increase or decrease thrust as they need if timing is messed up or if it encounters heavy wind, but solids don't have that advantage of changing thrust so timing of solids must be exactly perfect and weather must be perfect. Which is why So for Iran to launch it to their orbit of 425km, they successfully launched at exactly the right time and burned for exactly long enough without any issues to reach their orbit window since you only have one chance with solids. There is some degree of luck involved with this stuff as well since strong upper level winds can make it harder to reach orbit so weather is a big factor with launches. The fact that Iran successfully launched into orbit means all the stars lined up and went according to the plan.

It is a huge accomplishment and very few countries can launch their own satellite successfully from their own soil on their own rocket. It takes very bright and capable people to pull off such a difficult feat with any rocket, liquid or solid. Sometimes we forget how difficult space is until encountering failure, but that only makes the reward of success even better. It is a testament to the resolve of Iranian scientists and engineers that they were able to pull it off under sanctions. One should never underestimate how difficult space is, but Iran is now in the exclusive orbital launch club and all Iranians should be proud of this amazing accomplishment.

NO YOUR ALL THIS ANALYSIS IS WRONG, LIQUID CAN LIFT MORE WIGHT THAN SOLID, Isp of LIQUID IS FAR HIGHER THAN SOLID, BUT LIQUID FUELS ARE MORE DANGEROUS THAN SOLID FUELS AND NASA/ULA MOSTLY LAUNCH LIQUID FUEL ROCKETS LIKE DELTA-4 SERIES, ALTAS-SERIES ETC ETC, SOLID FUELS ROCKETS HAVE NO CAPABILITY TO LAUNCH HEAVY/SUPER HEAVEY PAYLOAD, AT BEST SOLID FUEL CAN LIFT FEW HUNDRED KG OF PAYLOADS, WHERE LIQUID FUELS CAN LIFT THOUSANDS OF KG OF PAYLOAD TO THE ORBITS
