What's new

(Breaking) China moves to end Hong Kong's autonomy

Like Syria.

I don't know what Syrian people are thinking right now.

Maybe regret or blaming other people for the mess.

Or they are very happy and proud right now.

HK if it's not being fixed right now.

One day, they will regret it.
Since HK is weakest link of China, the USA will no doubt using HK as bargain chip, like the last riot during the height of trade war. It is just the matter of long pain or short pain, as i said before either way HK is not going to be well. Moreover, HK people are not rational enough to choose our future at this moment, as many still prefer sacrifice our economy and well-being of people for the evasive ideas and their hatred.

Even right now those rioters desperately beating other ordinary HKers who want to go office, or store while they are blocking the streets. More HKers today see them as a thugs than a freedom fighters :enjoy: lol
It just proves the gov't is right to implement those laws, however, I would like to see how many would still support those actions. Let's hope that people will realize supporting those actions would not get us anything good but harm.

What happen in HK economy will have direct impact to ordinary HKers not Beijing.
Just look at, how many company move their capital and investment to Shenzhen instead of HK.
Shenzhen now much more developed than HK, last time I see.

Central Government playing their card skillfully, after those rioters make many blunders

Gladly, the girl is Safe

Whether is direct or indirect Beijing will still be expected to lose billions in the very least. That's the aim of the protest stupid. Like or not a lot of business in the mainland are still conducted in Hong Kong.

Do not assume anything show citations before you open your mouth otherwise you will look stupid. Most people in Hong Kong actually supports the protesters.

Supporters of the protests outnumbered opponents by a ratio of roughly two to one, with 28% against them compared with 30% in a poll in December, and 58% supporting them, versus 59% previously.

The ultimate loser is still Hong Kong, and that is blessing in disguise.

HK will be cesspool and begger. Then they will lose their pride. Then they will know their place.

No the ultimate loser will still be china. It shows how incompetent the CCP at handling dissent giving other nations more reasons to interfere in China's internal politics.

Unlike china right now HK have international supports.

HK is just a walk on the beach.

You should worry about Kashmir sht hole rape land.

The innocent girl trying to clean the roads in front of her house when those rioters beat her.

Those criminals will be punished with this new National law :yahoo:

But what more ridiculous is,
an indonesian member without any single cantonese blood in his body. Trying to dictate us, Hkers :D

HK police is too soft, only using tear gas to handle those rioters.

They need to learn more from Trump land police, about using live rounds

HK is a financial hub. They're not peasants from tibet that beijing can push around without any consequences The Hong kongers can just block traffic & beijing will lose billions.

It is the US and UK corporations that dominate the financial hub. Guess who will lose billions.

International support? No rather western support, same as those who supported the riots in Libya and Syria that ultimately lead to the tremendous suffering of the people there. And China's action show its competence in preventing the city to fall into the same chaos.

Keep barking, you cannot do anything

What a circus!

Wang Yi looks angry. his strongman strategy will create more violence more protests more chaos.

And? When and if the protesters burn the city down, these companies will be far more likely to move their operation to the mainland rather than lose their market share there. You think they will side with the thugs that's burning down their business?

As China has already decided to move ahead with the national security law, it is pretty clear that they are no longer concerned with western smear campaign. The West have already spent all their ammunition on the trade war and the coronavirus slandering, whatever they can do next is pretty much irrelevant.

More protests they throw, the more evidences will there be for the upcoming law to charge them with. You do know that some of these people are already fleeing the city?

the HK police treated the protesters with kiddie gloves and were still smeared so there really is nothing to lose at this point
