Of course we know the JF-17's capability. It has a small frontal RCS, great maneuverability, and the Block II will have AESA, RAM, more composites, IRST, and eventual ability that may even exceed the Su-30MKI in some areas.

wether Brazil really wanted to induct J11 is irrelevant (it is definately impossible for China to sell them of course), but one thing is clear.
someone (be it China or Brazil) wanted to beef up their relationship to a point that even jet fighters can be sold.
