Bomb Blast in Crowded Daata Darbar (Shrine), Lahore

Petro money sponsored Wahabists are destroying our country and we are helpless.

A country where a significant population (including many of my "highly educated" friends) not only tolerate sectarian outfits Sipah e Sahaba and Lashkar e Jhangvi but embrace their ideas, it should not be surprising that we face such a crisis.

Do you guys remember the grenade attack on a hospital in Quetta a couple of months back? It later turned out that LJ terrorists had targeted a renown Shia businessman or doctor (not sure about profession), and he only sustained bullet injuries. They then grenade attacked the hospital to make sure he died.

So much for the death of sectarian terror. LJ and SSP have risen again.

Petro dollared Wahabization will never be blamed by the Arab apologists. They just won't blame the Arabs even when it is clear and proven that their money has earlier and continues to find its way to the militant organizations and militant madrassas.

Well brothers and sisters this was just a matter of time. These devils consider everyone the enemy, since we do not follow their twisted kawrij, terrorist mindset.

The bottom line is, no terrorist group is good, they are all evil and no person in his or her right mind should ever view these savages in a good light.

My greatest fear is that retaliatory attacks will be carried out.

Allah bless the fallen. These creatures should be caught and slaughtered.

Don't blame a particular sect. I also belong to the same sect you are cursing and I openly send lanat on those who have perpetuate this attack and those who have sympathy with these bastards.

If you really want to get rid of such attacks get rid of these thugs. Most of our problems would be solved.

Yeah Zardari brought suicide attacks with him. In fact he created Tehreek e Taliban, Lashkar e Islam, Lashkar e Jhangvi, Sipah e Sahaba, Lashkar e Omar, Jaish e Mohammad, Harkat ul Mujahideen and the dozens of other militant parties.

Stop your stupid ******* moronic messages. You ******* hate a politician and blame political chaos on him, go post that somewhere else.

I don't want to initiate a sectarian debate, but for once try to ponder why there is no Barelvi militant organization.

And dozens and dozens of people have lost their lives in Karachi on the bases of ethnicity and political differences in Karachi. What are your views about that.

Were they also staged by a particular sect. Rehman Malik helds a meeting with Altaff Hussain and everything becomes normal. Target killing in Balochistan by BLA terrorists is also staged by that sect? They openly and proudly claim the responsibility. What these leaders have done to avenge the death of those innocents.

Terrorism is condemnable whether it is on the bases of Religion, Sect, Cast, Politics etc etc.

Because this very easy to embrace their idea with just one Qurran verse who have not ever himself not read and think about Qurran verses.

Tableghe are their another wing to turn specially sunnis through some of Qurranic verses.

Mostly through "IYAKA NA BUDO WA IYAKA NASTEIN" . Ones with little common sense could judge that translation of this verse is misquoted by "Hum teri he Ibadat kartay hain aur tujh say he madad mangtay hain"
even in arabic this is clear that IYAKA is repeating, so correct translation is " Hum teri he ibadat kartay hain aur teri he madad mangtay hain"

Do I seem apologetic about that or sympathize with that?

Karachi's terror has more to do with than just political killings and the criminal gangs that join political parties complementing their lower level workings.

Rehman Malik helds a meeting with Altaff Hussain and everything becomes normal. Target killing in Balochistan by BLA terrorists is also staged by that sect? They openly and proudly claim the responsibility. What these leaders have done to avenge the death of those innocents.

Political target killings and BLA's separatist ideology have nothing to do with this or any other terrorism incidents. They have to be handled in their own way but it does not compare in any way with the more than 20,000 lives lost in a war where the enemy is motivated by a toxic, poisonous and hateful religious dogma. This does not mean all dogmas are poisonous but we have known for long which dogmas are toxic, promote terror and we have tolerated them for long.

Terrorism is condemnable whether it is on the bases of Religion, Sect, Cast, Politics etc etc.

Nobody can question that.

You twisted the entire debate as to somehow four or people are responsible for the mess that was created two decades ago, grew like a menace, was promoted and seems uncontrollable. Zardari leaving office to be replaced by the hero figures for you, the oxymoronic benevolent dictators that you want cannot in any substantial way alter the face of this crisis. A political chaotic change only stems further chaos making room for further terror. Seek stability rather than chaotic madness that will allow terror to propagate easily.

The million dollar question right there.....Peace loving sufis always make great targets. But this time I think they have bitten off more than they can chew. I'm pretty sure mass lynchings of their supporters will follow, conducted by those who simply can't take no more.

But to be fair even the salafi scholars have blasted these savages.

The money may be petro dollar but it came to pakistan with blessing of our leadership. The saudi's didnt put a gun to our head to accept it. Not sure about now but during Zia's time this all money had the blessing from the top. So no need blaming the world when the problem is within pakistan.the idealogy is more dangerous than the money.

The political leadership, Federal and Provincial, does take much of the blame (in the present) in that they have not formulated and implemented effective counter-terrorism policies. There is a need for the FIA and IB to be made autonomous (appoint the DG's through a balanced parliamentary committee) and for significant expansion and capacity building of this force to take on terrorism and inter-provincial crime. Some of the elite force/Quick Reaction Squads need to be seconded to the FIA, since they will primarily be utilized in Counter-terrorism and violent cases that should come under the purview of such an FIA.

Beyond that there is a need to stop 'negotiating' with the Madrassa's and set up a deadline for compliance and regulation of all Madaris with government set minimum guidelines. These madaris have possibly millions of people studying in them, and the government cannot afford to ignore and not regulate institutions that potentially impact such a large number of Pakistanis.

But improving law enforcement and domestic intelligence is the key here, and that is not going to happen so long as the politicians at both the Federal and provincial level control the institutions that would most effectively combat terrorists, extremists and their sympathizers and supporters (some very powerful), and refuse to make them autonomous lest their own crimes are found out.

Can you please elaborate?

Follow the oil trail left by these organizations. It will lead you to the place where you will find the control centre, unfortunately someone even mightier has the control of it.

Lets not go into it right now.

A cowardly act, may Allah be with those who have suffered!

You can bomb our places of worship, you can kill our brave sons & daughters, but our spirit will remain intact!

May Pak Army rid our nation of such scum!

And the madness continues. What we need is low-level special forces ops in both Karachi and Punjab to flush out the terrorists who have escaped operations in FATA. RAW handlers of some of the terrorists groups need to be targeted in Afghanistan as well. This cancer is obviously causing serious problem for our country and the sooner we get tough on these animals the better.
