Well, there is certainly a pressure from pan-India youth & the urban middle class voters to project Modi as the PM candidate. But he is facing more a challenge from his own party than anyone else, there are 3-4 leaders of the BJP (Modi's party) that also want to be the PM in 2014 - LK Advani, Shushma Swaraj & Arun Jaitley. Plus there are some people in the BJP itself than doesn't like his dictatorial kind of leadership, he certainly has problems in taking people along in Governance, but the Grass root BJP workers are pressurizing the top leadership to give Mr. Modi a more say in the Party business & weather they like it or not Modi will become a key BJP leader in months to come.

But if he holds any chance of becoming PM of India than he has to play a more inclusive politics which focuses on carry every group of the society along, if he is seen doing this for the next year or so, he certainly have a good chance of becoming the PM.

But its Really sad that BJP lost Himachal ...
