A person who doesn't speak pushto, has intermarried is no longer a pushtoon, a pushtoon is he whose mother and father a pushtoon, he or she speaks pushto and follows a push toon culture.

Many pushtoons is Punjab but they retained their heritage and language and are pushtoon but those who didn't are no longer pushtoon but a mix group.
