The US may failed to live up to its foundation and high minded ideals, but at least the people have a set of high minded ideals to measure themselves against and improve themselves by the same. For China, by your argument, China is happy with inferior moralities ? The Americans of today are not the same Americans of yesterday. Have you ever heard of any other ethnic groups receiving such widespread discriminatory legal actions? If the FBI really want to dig deep into all ethnic groups, I am sure they will find plenty of economic espionage, illegal technology transfer, etc, etc, majority of which are probably based on greed. But the FBI and the American media want to portray economic crimes committed by Chinese Americans as something more sinister, infiltrators! traitors!

its interesting... I've seen some people here make very nasty racist comments about other races and cultures. Yet at the same time, many of those same people complain about others being racist. They paint entire countries with a broad brush. Assuming they know what the entire population of a country thinks. They only seem to see things through a racial prism. its a shame really

This is what a smart guy is supposed to do. The world is not an ideal place you assume. This is a jungle where the smartest ones survive at the expense of the stupid ones.

The bottom line is you have to kill others to survive, if you don't, you will be killed and others will survive. We can't get out of this universal loop. Either be a predator or end up being a prey.
