I was, at one point, as hard line Sunni as you could get.
However, I best describe myself as an Islamic Nationalist.
As far as the UAE is concerned alcohol is served openly, they're relaxing laws on cohabitation outside of marriage, it has the highest divorce rate in the Muslim world, etc...
I'm sorry but the UAE has never been a good influence on Muslims.
In terms of the statements I made regarding the UAE's support for terrorist groups in Pakistan and attempts at sabotaging Gwadar this is something known among the intelligence agencies, Army and government:

How you of all people could excuse the UAE's hateful comments and threats against Pakistan and Turkey for not participating in their slaughter of Yemeni Muslims is beyond me:
UAE minister warns Pakistan of ‘heavy price for ambiguous stand’ on Yemen
Frankly when Gargash made those statements we should have ended him. The UAE should have been treated as a threat not a friend or "brother".
As for my father he used to work within the government of one of the GCC nations so when the Yemen war broke out he was upset. He had met a lot of Yemeni peoples during his time there and described them as the friendliest, kindest and some of the best Muslims he's ever encountered while he saw the GCC run by some of the most racist, stupid and worst Muslims he met. When they offered him citizenship in the 80s he declined, moved back to Pakistan though admittedly corruption kept him out and he moved back to Canada.
Personally I'm not interested in brotherhood with any of your nations particularly not until there's a leadership change.
Pakistan's goal should be to focus on its own economy through tax revenue generation and investment in itself. Eventually we should be seeking to use our military like any great power to project our narrative and ideology.
