Bhagavad Gita Must Be Declared National Scripture: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj

how and why have you achieved a differing conclusion to the hindutva poster child modi

Because he speaks complete sense 99% of the time? Both he and Manohar Parrikar. Actually I like the latter a little more than Modi ji :D

.
In one word - monotheism :D
At a time, when there is no coherent policy on higher education, number of world class universities are horribly minuscule compared to other Asian nations like Japan, Taiwan, South Korea or China (let alone the West European countries), condition of state run primary and secondary schools are in absolute dismal situation, continuous pressing emphasis on having a system motivated by Hindutva agenda is utterly preposterous and dangerous. If the country really wants to walk on 'make in India' path, a more practical and demand based education system is the need of the hour, not any politically inspired design as the minister intends.

What do u expect from a 12 th pass education minister anyways?
A health minister who is not even a doctor?:tdown::confused:

The entire ruling lot seem to have lost the goal they were so sure to achieve before election. Strong policies on industrialization, complete over hauling of the health care system or education looks to be on hold.

so you think someone with world view that includes ancient plastic surgery, space ship and nuclear energy is able to detach these umm lets say flights of fancy from other sphere of his activities.

is there a basis in gita for modis beliefs

which means...

1. free education of a person's choice until age 14.

2. removal of marks system.

3. replacing the college system with apprentice system, joined at age 14, where a person joins existing project or he gathers his colleagues into a project.

4. focus on agriculture, space, biology.

5. removal of "money needed for survival" system... if one spends life earning salary, he will never learn anything which actually contributes to humanity.

. . . .
so your position is you do believe what modi says......

i think surgically attaching an elephants head to an infant is a little more challenging than rudimentary rhinoplasty.

Brain surgery was also practiced by people many thousands of years ago but you won't see any politicians using it as a basis for anything....

u are avoiding the question.... is there a basis in gita for modis claim

.
They are making India nothing but a bigger version of Pakistan.

Dream on.

this musalmaam proposes... ( The Worldwide Government | Page 3 ).

This is putting me to sleep. See all you folks in the morning. My challenge to the Musulmaans of Pakistan stays. Either debate me or accept defeat and embrace the beautiful religion of your forefathers which will liberate you and bring infinite joy and happiness to your lives. Gnite!

I'm neither Modi's wife nor his penis. You must ask him where he got the plastic surgery idea from. As for the Gita it is a philosophical text.

Oh and where is my dear friend @Indrani ? She will love this thread :D

. .
But hey what does national scripture mean??
I might sound dilettante but would it also be included in our school syllabus?? :undecided:

And hey Gita isn't such a bad book :)
I think what Krishna taught Arjun back then is still very relevant....like the destination is more important than the path ...or something to that effect ,which is just the opposite of what Mr.gandhi had to say

But the other religious books 're equally good too may be our external affairs minister hasn't read 'em yet. :P

Mrs Sushma Swaraj what were you thinking?? :hitwall:
