At a time, when there is no coherent policy on higher education, number of world class universities are horribly minuscule compared to other Asian nations like Japan, Taiwan, South Korea or China (let alone the West European countries), condition of state run primary and secondary schools are in absolute dismal situation, continuous pressing emphasis on having a system motivated by Hindutva agenda is utterly preposterous and dangerous. If the country really wants to walk on 'make in India' path, a more practical and demand based education system is the need of the hour, not any politically inspired design as the minister intends.
