@The Eagle @waz @WebMaster Mod's I am not pointing any name here. A lot of people wouldn't even have gone through that particular thread which I am vaguely referring, also half of the comments of that thread are already removed. So there is no naming or shaming in my post.
Today, I had a discussion with a db(you can consider that as dumb b*tch, douche-bag, or just database of knowledge), it's upto anyone's interpretation. The guy literally called me pee brain, retarded, insecure, and couple of other things which I forgot and those comments were removed by a mod and I on the other hand was being told that I was in the wrong. All because I argued that in my opinion MMA, boxing and muay thai were respectable for me(there might be a couple more but these are the main styles that I prefer).
As, I am a strong opponent of bullshido and different bs styles. I want to discuss with all, which fighting style is the best in actual real street fighting. I am not going to argue with a particular style teaching you breathing techniques or meditation, its mainly street fighting.
Now I know there are unified rules of MMA, there are rules of boxing, there are rules of Muay thai, but the main question is which style helps the most in an actual street fight. In actual street fight without weapons you ignore those rules and your positioning is what matters. And with muay thai, mma and boxing, there is a little to no openings for the opponents to strike. All it takes is one good punch, a kick, knee or an elbow to break someone's nose or break a jaw or complete knock down.
When a person comes upto me and tells me that he has spent 5 years training ninjutsu and he knows "the way of the samurai". To me he either trolling or the he is just a ____.
Now I know there was no MMA in Bruce lee era, but to me and many others he is the founder of MMA. He was a practitioner of wing chun, taught by his great master Ip man(Yip-man), but after a fight in San Franciso where he had an encounter, where he chased a guy, he punched him on the behind of his head and back. Soon his fists began to swell from hitting his hard head and then he realized, wing chun was not too practical and he had to alter his ways. Later on he converted his style from wing chun to jeet kune do (the way of intercepting fists)
Now I am a realist, I don't go into fantasy, well at-least when it comes to street fighting. Now if a person asks you to fight with a weapon what would you rather bring? a gun, a bazooka or a samurai sword because you follow the way of the samurai or do you prefer shurikens because you wasted 5 years of your life in training ninjutsu?
Again this is not a hatred thread against some one. This is just calling out bs a bs.
Now there are some kung fu, wing chun etc. masters out there that are really good. But majority of them are all bs and I feel sorry for a person that tries to defend one particular style because he unfortunately wasted 5 years in it. There is unnecessary pride in some of the practitioners of old school fighting styles.
And a request to mod's if they want to remove some words from this then do so, but please do not remove the essence of this whole conversation. I am already sad that I was being pointed out by a mod in my last conversation on this topic when the other guy literally used pee brain, retarded etc words like that.
Not tagging any one other than mods because I don't know who might find this worth discussing.
