Running away is the best idea in a street fight unless you absolutely have no option left, even then you will have to make decisions based on the opponent's numerical superiority, weapons carried, whether you are with your loved ones at that very moment et cetera. Even when you do decide to stand your ground, seeking an amicable solution or limiting the damage should be at the forefront of your mind.Wth,,,guy asks about effective fighting style.
****** as usual give thr typical advice of running away.
Listen dude,,,dont listen to these bhagora kind.
U dont learn fighting to run away,,,u learn it to stand ur ground.
First decide what u wanna learn,,,,to survive or to fight.
Boxing/MMA are sports and should be treated as such, even an accomplished boxer has no chance against a knife/gun wielding thug, a nicked blood vessel or a severed ligament could cause the end of one's boxing career or worse, life. If you have ever been seriously into any combat sport, the first thing you are told is never to engage in a street fight, moreover the metacarpal bones in an untrained boxer are fragile enough to shatter on impact with bony surfaces.
I am a frequent attendee to the district boxing matches in my place, pains me to see the young ones these days looking to fight to the death without paying much concern to defense or strategy.
Endurance training(long distance running, skipping etc) is a major part of boxing training, this is the only aspect that will come handy in a street fight, nothing shameful about being a bhagora in my opinion.
Regards.
Count me in your camp, what went down in that thread was downright deplorable. All because I argued that in my opinion MMA, boxing and muay thai were respectable for me(there might be a couple more but these are the main styles that I prefer).
As, I am a strong opponent of bullshido and different bs styles.
The boxer in me hates the fact that most MMA duels end up on the mat, also the fact that their sissy punches are cringe-worthy.
