Benazir cleared of all corruption cases

RAWALPINDI: Slain former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto has been cleared of all corruption cases after an accountability court today deleted her name from the final references. Two National Accountibility Courts today heard references against Benazir Bhutto's husband -- Asif Ali Zardari -- in the Ursus tractors, ARY, SGS Cotecna, Polo Ground and BMW corruption references. Judge Khalid Mehmood deleted Benazir Bhutto's name from the Ursus reference clearing her of all charges.

So thats it ? Mr.10% gets to keep all the money? Some times I wonder, who is running our country.

If people like these can get off the hook, then they should also release crooks from the jail.

I think only the cases against Benazir have been dropped, Mr.10% will probably still face trail. The Swiss case against Benazir has been dropped, but Zardari is still facing trail. Some one should really conform this, has the case against Benazir and Zardari been dropped or just against Benazir.
 
Its true only one case drop and it was going in Rawalpindi court.
 
She hasn't been "cleared" as such, meaning not guilty, just that the cases against her have been dropped as she is now dead.

Zardari is still due to face trial in Pakistan along with the ongoing case in Switzerland.
 
it would have been rather difficult to continue a case against a dead person, although the state can stake a claim against her assetts in case of financial case. However charges of misuse of power or corruption need to be dropped as she is dead.
