Beijing tech show highlights advances in Chinese fighter sensors

Does it track the stealth enemy aircraft via datalinking with the IRST?
That's one possibility. When the missile goes active on its own seeker it may not be able to pick up the stealth aircraft at first like you said, but once it gets close enough (Detection threshold) it will be able to pick it up and do its terminal homing.

The radar on-board the firing aircraft could also provide the datalink information to the missile, assuming it has a solid track on the opposing plane.

Or use and AEW&C as a relay, as seen in the cooperative engagement capability. Individual missiles don't need to use their own sensors when a E-2D can vector the missile on behalf of the launch platform.

We're starting to see this over-the-horizon, beyond-visual-range capability in the US Navy with regards to ultra long-range anti-air and missile weapons such as SM-6, SM-3, SM-2 and long range versions of AIM-120.

Chinese sensors are in operation with all Chinese fighters and all Chinese J-11B, J-11D, J-16 are all equipped with Chinese WS-10 engines.

India won't be making a turbofan engine like the WS-10 for several decades, if ever. India doesn't have the slightest clue on how to make turbofan engines like the WS-10.

Can India make anything like the J-20 by itself? NOPE!
How can you develop 5th generation fighters when you can't even develop a piece of junk like the LCA even with foreign help. India has been developing the LCA for 30 freaking years. Shows how backward India truly is

All your future weapons are just Russian projects, none of them are actually developed by the Indian defence industry.

India is not even in the same league as China in domestic weapons technology.
India is atleast 30-40 years behind China in weapons technology.

Several decades at least if the US teach them. At least 80 years if they do it themselves.
