B'desh will be among top 30 nations by 2030: PM

@idune: instead of teaching him why dont you open a single anti BSF thread and post all of your rants related to BSF there rather than opening a new thread everytime and spamming the forum.

If PM Hasina remains in power for next 10 to 15 years BD an achieve that. She is doing excellent job regarding economy.

It seems many Indians are one-sided when it is which party is for progress and which party is not in Bangladesh. They should know, all these processes of industrial expansion have started during the last BNP rule and will continue even if AL is not in power. The rate of GDP growth was also about 6.5% in those years.

Industrialists, labours, politicians and people together work for the country. It is not that one party is good for the economy and the other one is bad. But, whether a party is bad or not can be seen from what that party does to develop the infrastructure, both social and physical, of the country.

When it is this, AL is more talk than substance, and BNP was little or no talk at all. But, in essence, both are same.

Though there was global economic slowdown AL govt did much better in 2009 and 2010 s also better while BNP rule (2001-2006) was worse with the lowest GDP growth except the caretaker govt's (2006-2008) rule was the best for BD. AL is creating base for industrial growth in last two years of rule, the following three years will be better.

GDP figures are not reliable when you want to measure our economy. GDP does not take distribution of income into account, which might mean that only top 5% ( which is in reality) is making all the money. There has been many cases in the world where a country has witnessed an high gdp rate but fall in living standard.

Please leave your dry statistics somewherte else. It does not show anything that proves that a political govt is the only responsible party for the development of a country, specially when that country is a capitalist country. There are many other factors. Govt is more responsible for policy making decisions, the development of the country's infrastructure and creates a law-abiding society.

This govt's lacks a consistent policy except that every morning Begum Hasian would wake up and would make some announcement of a new big project. If someone counts all her promises from her day on the throne, one would see our poor BD has already developed twice that of Japan. Please stop burdening your head with figures.
