Hi,
What I had stated was that Pak military should have accepted GCC's request to send a military to the region---yemen---.
Pak should have availed that opportunity---. It should have build a force of around 150 K troops ( a battle group ) at GCC's expense---used heir experience and brought peace to the yemen issue---.
In this troop buildup---there would be no money coming out of pakistan's pockets---GCC would be funding all the expenses---pakistan would have extra military stationed at critical locations---with FULL EQUIPMENT that would be on top of what pak military already had in pakistan.
The sole purpose of this military was to provide security to vulnerable GCC countries from a trusted ally---.
Agree but after 4 to 5 years. It is connected with Pakistan internal issues & security. We can't just open new waves of extreme terrorism from iran too, we should not repeat the same mistake again, First fully secure iran-pak border which will take 3-4 years then send military to GCC, Pakistan should be able to monitor every movement and should be able to control trade (illegal or legal) from pak-iran borders before sending troops.
