Mamata is high on promises and show and less on delivery.

Check the last years Railway Budget and see how many promises and then check how many on which the work has started and then check the funds if all what she promised was feasible!

I have no love lost for Commies, but then I don't see much hope, no matter who is elected.

On the issue of how many Hindus of BD are migrating compared to the Muslims of BD, the fact is that when compared to the population of BD, the Hinuds are a practically non existent, having migrated long back, the last exodus being in 1971.

The main reason for Bangladeshis migrating is economic. That is why they not only migrate into West Bengal, but then move to Mumbai and Delhi where economic opportunities are greater.

As far as migration in Bengal is concerned, it is not very difficult to mingle with the general population especially Murshidabad and even Malda where the Muslim population is high. Further, the Muslim surnames on both sides of the border are common such as Mondol and such like, which are also aHindu surnames. The first names used are neutral that do not show religion like Babloo etc. Further, these being scheduled caste surnames, it is not that easy to take action because of the strict laws protecting the scheduled castes in India.

It is difficult for those who have lived the majority of their lives under martial law and quasi democracy and rigged polls to realise that even a few hundred votes difference is adequate to make the cut and hence illegals 'imported' does make a difference.

It is good to find people concerned about the Bangladeshis and migration being solely the handiwork of corrupt politicians. They should be. However, they should also honour the pledge to repatriate the loyal Razaakars of Bangladesh to Pakistan. One wonders why these loyal people have been left high and dry to rot in Bangladesh inspite of the pledges. Crocodile tears?

2. before ranting about vote difference and all NOBODY Here is differing with it here. thats the point with "thousands" of Bangladeshis as claimed by bharatis themselves voting in west bengal do make a difference and btw if this is NOT rigging according to bharati criteria i dont know what you call rigging.

BSF is already doing that. But i would say Bangladeshis should be taking some classes from now on how to bribe BSF and save some bullets .


You must accept the reality that fault lies within your own circles ranging from BSF letting them in by talking bribes, your politicians facilitating them with legal cover to vote in Indian elections.
