Plz, be rational.

1.) these are all the sins of communist govt. in WB. In Bengal CPM provides ration cards and voter ID to Bangladeshis in the promise of a sure shot vote in CPM's favor.


2.) congress don't have to do anything with it.

3.) Tell me BJP ne kaun sa teer mara, its all their politics to fool people. BJP have not sended even 100 Bangladeshis back home.

Unfortunately it is the CONGRESS which is absolutely to blame . In WB the left has ( or has had in the last 3 decades) the largest political presence in the state , followed by Trinamool and then by congress.The BJP or any of the pro majority parties has no presence there. The left front has always promoted minority appeasement for the sake of votes and the only way to counter them ( for the last 3 decades at least ) has been a tie up or coalition between TMC and congress . As a result there is no balance in WB unlike in other states where both ultra - nationalistic parties and pro-minority parties keep each other on their toes. The CPIM has turned a blind eye to demographic change for decades and the only party- strong in numbers at the national level and with any hope of raising this issue forcefully at the state level i.e the congress - is lethargic and inactive over this most critical issue.( not surprising since it plays shameless votebank politics all over the country in other states.)

The problem is that there are no local parties, to raise a hue and cry over this and so there is very little chance of rapid demographic change to be stemmed.
For WB at least the future is bleak in that no matter who comes at the centre this time around - TMC led coalition ( which is likely ) or the Left - the critical issues wont get redressed.

She follows the same socialism that the Left govt followed for the last 3 decades to decimate industry in bengal.....we can only hope she grows a little sense and pragmatism once she comes at the helm and continues the current CM ( Buddhadeb's) good work.
