Bangladesh to implement Indian correctional system in prisons

Impressed by the correctional and rehabilitation systems implemented in the Indian prisons, Government of Bangladesh is planning to replicate it.

After a visit to two central jails - Cherlapally (Telangana) and Vellore (Tamilnadu), 14-member Bangladeshi delegation led by Colonel Iqbal Hussain, Additional IG Prisons and Shaik Shakil Ahmad, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs were quite impressed.

Funny because poorest of the poor in Bangladesh use latrine. Or some kind of Cloth covered pit if sanitary latrine isn't available. Open defecation is a rare site in Bangladesh.. I myself haven't seen in my life.

On the other hand In India It is culture to defecate openly which is mark of Higher civilization as stated in the Op.
