srilankan ... (best without milk)
Indian... (overall it’s good with or without milk but isn’t as special as the srilankan variety)
Bangladeshi (best with milk... too strong for without
Go anywhere in the world and name Darjeeling Tea.
It's sad you guys never experienced Chinese tea.

Chinese, only green tea

Yes in 3 bedroom apartments not palace type houses.
You’ve not been around much have you? There are villa/ mansion houses being bought by people at such high prices that it will make you question their source of income... ofc nothing is being done because they have friends

No one can really predict the future correctly. But, the present trend of GDP growth in BD comparing to the growth of PAK GDP shows that it is possible for the former to surpass the latter, although I am not sure about the living standard will be better or not. By the way, I think, you will have to check the data for BD's service sector to find out any falsification. The rate of inflation is certainly counted. But, the percentage of service sector seems to be too high for an LDC as a percentage of GDP.

About low IQ activity of stitching clothes, it was the USA that used to export raw cotton and clothes to the west European markets during the 19th century. It was Japan that used to sell its raw silk in Europe and it started industrialization by stitching clothes in its sweatshops. China did the same and is still doing. Stitching clothes seems to be a milestone to step forward in other sectors. But, the issue is BD is not taking concrete steps to move to other sectors like metallurgy, steel production, machine production and many such other goods.
Stitching clothes is a business that will never die... people will never stop buying clothes... so whoever is trying to make fun of that is just making a fool of themselves.

The same bill-tard butthurt desperate cherry-picked pictures of Dhaka right in this thread say something very different. @Michael Corleone and @bluesky agree
Truth be told... whole of Indian subcontinent is not my cup of tea... I’ve been to India and Pakistan too and plan to visit bd again next year... all these places have good modern cities and terrible slums... the superiority complex that’s embedded in what’s generally the same people is what is keeping the whole lot of y’all behind.

Dhaka is definitely not a place for luxury. Those some villa/mansions won't change anything.

That indeed... neither are any cities in Indian subcontinent except maybe Islamabad, male and Colombo... the rest are sub standard in my opinion and have a lot to transform

.
do you guys see something a bit off with BD having such high rates in these 2 hold-out things but claiming progressivism/progress in the easier-to-manipulate stuff?
Does seem there's a divide. Child marriage and teen pregnancy is particularly rampant in the the rural parts. While it's also still a major but declining (albeit rather slow) in the urban areas. Giving the increase migration into urban areas of BD though it's probably bound to increase. Government efforts against child marriage seemed to have stalled.

:sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic:

Looking at the butt hurt and burn of this moron, I can do nothing but laugh.

1. We are talking here nominal GDP not real GDP or PPP GDP. It is the measure I have seen most of the Pakistanis and Indian always did when I joined here 2010/2011. They were too fond of showing Pakistan's per capita GDP is 2 times or Indian's per capita GDP is 2.5 times that of Bangladesh obviously with nominal count. However that time Bangladesh's GDP base year was 1995 so GDP used to look smaller.

2. In these years Bangladesh has overtaken Pakistan in terms of Per Capita GDP (nominal) and now almost about to overtake Pakistan in terms of total GDP (nominal), almost caught up India in per capita GDP (nominal) term (provided India measure GDP based on 2011/12 base year but Bangladesh does it based on 2005 base year) and will overtake India in terms of GNI within 2 years.

Any argument about any other thing can only progress further when someone acknowledge these facts!!!

This is not only the stat Bangladesh has overtaken Pakistan in many other indicator including almost twice export earning and reserve.

So a natural question comes is it Bangladesh that progressed a lot to overtake Pakistan in nominal per capita GDP term and almost catching up India as well specially when base year upgrade will be done or it is Pakistan or India performed badly for this to happen? One needs to accept either of the two?

The way this slum dog dalit started writing essays it is appearing there are no argument here that Bangladesh has overtaken Pakistan in nominal term but now they brought the counter argument no!! no!! no!! Pakistan is still ahead based on constant per capita GDP count. Fair enough!!! By which margin???

Based on 2016 figure Bangladesh and Pakistan's GDP per capita 2010 contant US$ is $1029 and $1178. Not a big difference. On top of it Pakistan corrected population in 2017 so it brought down the figure more and Bangladesh progressed at much faster rate so based on 2018 figure I am quite sure Bangladesh has either overtaken or about to overtake Pakistan in terms of GDP per capita 2010 contant US$.

I guess this troll knows it very well so he has brought up the PPP comparison. Pakistan is ahead little bit but no doubt Bangladesh will overtake it as well in next couple of years. I would like to see what argument this Bihari slum dog like to bring after that :p::p::p::p::p::p::p::p::p:

Comparison against India can only be done when both country is compared with same GDP base year.

Next year Pakistan's GDP growth will drop to 5%.

We will, we will, we will...

Tell me how many people in Pakistan own car? Per 1000 inhabitants? I see, Pakistani motorways are almost empty.May be after 2050 they will be sufficiently utilized.Even Lahore-Islamabad motorway are still underutilized after 20 years.

It certainly is more than BD check world bank Figures. Not only do we have much more cars, Pakistan is in top 25 for car production in the world with companies like Nissan, Renault and Audi lining up to open up their assembly lines. While Pakistan is producing cars and exporting fighter jets BD is happy in making underwears.

As I have said, their and our priorities are different. Bangladeshi elite should share the misfortune of living in a chaotic city with common people. That's why we have no Islamabad or Bahria town.

Your cities are abysmal and shitty. I find it hard to fathom how people live in Dhaka. Bahria town is available across major cities in Pakistan. It is there for middle/upper middle class not elite. Of course, the facilities offered for Middle class Pakistani at Bahria town is something elite BD people won't be imagining for the next few decades.

7 % growth rate and can't even have a half decent sewage system or a normal road in any of your cities.

Such statements are no different from comments like 'While Bangladesh is an Asian Tiger economy in making, Pakistan is happy being the global factory of terrorists'.

What are you talking about dude? Such middle class residential areas are there in every other city in South Asia and some of the ones in Bangladesh are far ahead than Bahria Town.

If you really want to compare luxury facilities, check out the number of international chain hotels. Cox's Bazar alone has more of them than entire Pakistan and considering the growth of the hospitality sector, it will remain far ahead in the foreseeable future.

6 times per capita than Bangladesh apparently....assuming similar breakdown of motor vehicle composition.

Don't forget you assemble about 600 a year, Pakistan assembles around 230,000 a year. What is that ...350 times more per capita?

The true hallmark of a low-energy, low-IQ LDC.

@Khan_21 @A.A. Khan @django @Pluralist @Desert Fox

By which margin???

Pakistan is ahead little bit

Both got answered in my last post (margins and timeframes if growth rates hold constant...which are tough asks given the timeframes in question). Not my problem if you are illiterate and still cannot answer one non-google available to show any proof of your economic aptitude:

https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/at-c...ta-income-by-2020.560772/page-9#post-10533136

Now if you "black cats" want to show me some non-google, non copy-paste economic capability/logic of yours, tell me why there is a difference between the ratio of constant/current GDP per capita when its non-PPP (76%) and PPP (93%) for BD.

You haven't got even one positive rating for any subject, period. Want me to list the economic-based ones of mine right here for you to try digest if you ever get past the swamp low breed illiteracy in the future?

So bugger off you low-breed vermin. 1/3rd diabetes rate your kind has in US (and bottom of the barrel income, worse than sub saharan folks, afghans, nepalis you name it)...I guess the rice eating addiction is your subconscious way of making penance for marrying off your young girls at 5 times the rate of India/Pakistan and getting them pregnant/burdened at 3 - 4 times the rate of the same.....when you aren't busy trafficking them to brothels in the first place like the degenerate suwaar pole-vaulting/boat migrant beggar filth you were, are....and always will be.

If we look at energy consumption in 1971, we can see that Pakistan is at over 3x that of BD in 1971, but in 2014 at just over 2x.

That is a beggar argument. You haven't even reached the per capita energy consumption of Pakistan and India in the 60s...neither are you cutting the gap by any drastic amount (Pakistan remains an absolute 250+ kg of oil equivalent per capita above you)....low base effect of beggar swamp changing the multiplier from 3x to 2x means next to nothing other than showing how pathetically bad you are.

Just look at those tiny increases you have going at this low base too, honestly its too difficult to even FIND another LDC that consumes as low as you do to see how they grew when at those low levels.

I mean Myanmar and Nepal actually shows how to make some catch up to Pakistan level in a reasonable amount of time....quite unlike Beggar swamp (which will take like 30 - 40 years at current rate provided the growth rates even hold):

https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/EG.USE.PCAP.KG.OE?locations=BD-PK-MM-NP

Rest of your butthurt vitriol against Pakistan (pre 1971 extraction hoax like the 3 million hoax) is the same ole same ole. Nothing new and I have crushed it plenty times before with no effort.

Blaming your continued cheap beggar kanjoosi nature (that has been there since the dawn of civilisation, it is why for example "Anga Desh" was passed as a mere instantaneous gift from one King to a low-born to make the latter a King) on Pakistan is like blaming Pakistani soldiers for still causing your super high teenage pregnancy rates....instead of looking into the mirror first and foremost and place the blame there first and foremost. You lot always were, always are and always will be shameless, ingrate beggars....the worst combination of the worst qualities of humankind....that ultimately cause the void and need to lie to yourselves as much as possible to feel better (hence BAL, BNP, BBS and all the other bong bong noise making political/institutional crapheads making whatever up on paper to keep the beggar sheeple in the swamp plantations of groupthink/idiocracy).

Everyone else just has to adjust to dealing with that. Be it operation searchlight + "3 million" + "X00,000" (your butthurt number complex/claims, no one elses) in and out treatment to try do their bit to up-breed the low stock...shooting thousands upon thousands at the border like rats after that, using them to kill each other and then deporting 1 million of these rats back to where they came from in just a few months time....etc etc etc....more of all of this is coming up....just the country doing it to you will change like how your brothel creatures entertain different clients for their living. It will be ongoing for as long as you stay true to your low breed vermin nature.

It is why as @Khan_21 said, you have a complex of trying to always blah blah BD relevance in comparison to India/Pakistan. Instead of actually BECOMING relevant....laziest, stupidest pieces of crap in the whole world you are....that sticks with you like flies on excrement wherever you go.

True. But it is the scale of difference I am pointing to. No Indian or Pakistani city is considered as liveable as utter warzones in the middle east and africa (i.e the 90% of the masses average living quality not the gated 10%)...that too by pro-Bangladesh/pro-leftism/pro-feelz "The Economist". Guess there are somethings they just cannot overlook no matter what their feelz want them to....only so much BBS leftist tard feelz they can take verbatim I guess.

Fact checking Bangladesh ends up being an excercize of putting a hand into a hole hoping to grab the goods promised on paper, but ends up grabbing a pile of fresh sloppy turd.

Too bad. You have only yourselves to blame. Take the "doctor" in this subforum, none of you tell him enough to bugger off (when he wastes all this time here for nothing) and actually do his bit to fix his shithole mess that sends 1 million medical refugees yearly to India. Why is this only my job? Should it not be all yours front and centre? I'd do the same times a hundred (for some Indian forum poster claiming to be doctor) if India was sending a scale of medical refugees to other countries (what is that 7 million yearly on our population scale or something?)...for things like effing X-rays and selling effing hard earned/inherited LAND to do it.

He can start small and do big things like this guy (instead of typing long *** crap posts), can he not? doesn't every bit count?:

https://thelogicalindian.com/news/citizens-gather-to-bid-farewell-to-a-doctor/

But nope, its all the same kanjoosi, chalta-hai attitude by you lot....instead of cracking the whip on such people here and asking them to be the change they want to see in BD. Do you guys seriously think the politicians and bureaucrats you end up with (and dont make me point out how much worse they are compared to India and Pakistan, as bad as they are there) come out of the blue and are because of pre-1971 Pakistan and Dada-chanakya blah blah BS....that deflection feelz is why BD is in the state it is in and always will be....and its why India and Pakistan will go places, and you are stuck in the rut stitching crap on the handout feelz other countries feel like giving you.

That indeed... neither are any cities in Indian subcontinent except maybe Islamabad, male and Colombo... the rest are sub standard in my opinion and have a lot to transform

No other city in subcontinent is the open festering dung heap that Dhaka is either....according to the economist, not me

@Homo Sapiens

Name me one residential area in Bangladesh that comes close to the ones in Bahria town, DHA or Gulberg. We don't have entire families stuffed into 2 bedroom apartments. What are the facilities offered in those townships? how aesthetic are they? Do you want to compare International Standard residential Projects like Bahria town which is spread over numerous KM's to a hotel chain in BD?LOL.

Dude, you simple?

As I have already told you, BD does not have the space to build large houses for people.
Like Japan, majority of people will live in apartment blocks.
We have already shown you pictures of modren residential blocks being constructed in Dhaka.

Here is a fun fact - BD GDP per capita is growing 3% a year quicker than Pakistan,

How come Pakistan has 8-10 universities in QS/Times world ranking and you have none? The quality of your universities must be abysmal too. Have a look at scientific journals published.

https://www.scimagojr.com/countryrank.php?year=2017

Pakistan ranked 39 with 16000 journals Published and around 15000 citable Journals
Bangladesh Publishes a meager 4900 journals with 4600 as citable.

That's because we have only exported to Nigeria and Qatar yet, while your underwears roam around the world. Not everybody is in a position to buy Jets as compared to what you export.

. .
@Nilgiri the butt-hurt in your reply is worrying and may require medical attention.

Can you explain why the majority BD area of united Pakistan had less than 3 times the energy usage of the minority area of W Pakistan in 1971?
