Bangladesh starts monitoring mosques, madrasas

lol some people are actually buying this! There is no extremism in Bangladesh right now. There was no need of monitoring! In reality this is anti awami monitoring!! Not anti-extremism! These mosques and regular visitors to mosques are religious and for that critics of Awami secular rule! So this monitoring system was required to prevent any anti awami discussion!! what do people mean By mullahs?? Illiterate Tribal leaders? Sorry this is not the case in Bangladesh! Examples of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Yemen , Somalia are not applicable for Bangladesh! those countries are infested with Tribalism, bangladesh is not! Bangladesh is in the league of Egypt or Indonesia! As for extremist groups only Hizbut Tawhid and Hizbut Tahrir are active in Bangladesh! Tawhid is good only in spreading Dajjal poster and tahrir they were never accused of terrorism! Strange that some of the progressive people are buying this awami deception!

I may be wrong, didn't your army prevent coup attempt by extremist groups. What was their motive to overthrow the Sheikh Hasina government????

Dersim Massacre - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Dersim Massacre took place in 1937 and 1938 in Dersim, now called Tunceli Province, in Turkey. It was the outcome of a Turkish military campaign against the Dersim Rebellion by local ethnic minority groups against Turkey's Resettlement Law of 1934. Thousands of Alevi and Zazas died and many others were internally displaced due to the conflict.

Don't believe Kemalist propaganda, Kemalism is a violent genocidal terror ideology that has both victimized minority groups like the Alevis, and also murdered people like Adnan Menderes whose only crime was bringing back the Arabic Azan.

Kemalists have also murdered Christian priests by kidnapping them, tying them up and slitting their throats, just so that Muslims would be blamed for it.

Sledgehammer (coup plan) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sledgehammer (Turkish Balyoz) is the name of an alleged Turkish secularist military coup plan which reportedly dates back to 2003.[1]

Reports of the alleged plot first surfaced in the liberal Taraf newspaper, which said it had discovered documents detailing plans to bomb two Istanbul mosques and accuse Greece of shooting down a Turkish plane over the Aegean Sea.[2][3][4] The plan allegedly was to stir up chaos and justify a military coup.

The army said the plans had been discussed but only as part of a scenario based planning exercise at a military seminar.[5][6](Yeah, right!!!)

In addition this violent terrorist ideology of Kemalism had totally failed to improve Turkey's economic situation, until in 2002 the Islamist AKP took over power, after which its economic situation began to improve.

Not only the mosque Imams, but also extremist people like you should also be monitored. Why it is bad to monitor ignorant Mullahs who still believe in Sun moving around the earth? The Madrassah teachers teach the people in low voice whatever is written in the science book, do not believe them. You must believe Sun is moving around the Earth, because nothing contrary has been written anywhere in the Holy books.

These ignorants must be given a minimum training in education to be qualified to become an Imam or a teacher. The govt is doing a great job, finally. People's money is being spent on these ignorants, so they must be monitored all the time to know if any of them is up to the job he is doing. Why people should be sympathetic towards these ignorant militants?

They existed for a century as a Secular state, they don't face sectarian violence. Problem of extremism is at very low level in Turkey.

Ever bothered to look up the history of Afghanistan? No?

Secularism doesn't automatically mean peace. Don't confuse on that matter.

Turkey has long maintained its key founding values, with a long and rich history. Their forefathers were highly learned. And Turks work hard, along with a strong work ethic. And that's why we see a strong Turkey today.

Malaysia still maintains Islamic values in its constitution. Do we see instability and violence? In fact, it is the most stable nation in South East Asia.

Even Turkey is orange

Now where is Awami League now?

Please, don't insult the Turks by comparing their values and forefathers to those of the Awami League.

they should be monitored, the amount of hate they spew is horrendous

don't forget ages ago it was these kat mullahs who were going around saying "if you learn english you aren't a muslim"

good move, as a secular nation they are taking care of the security of their country

We do not need secularism, either. We need a muslim country with Muslim customs and culture followed by its inhabitants. Non-Muslims should be free to pursue theiir religion. However, BD does not have to become a barbaric backward society that still prevails in the Saudi Arabia. The muslim fanatics are more in favour of killing their own muslim brethren rather than non-muslims. Watch out what is happening in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

ISI wants next Kasab should come from B'desh, B'desh Goverment doing its best to prevent this.

correct.. there is no black and white between Muslim nation and a secular nation. BD can adopt the best from both models..

I know their history and both Pakistan and Afghanistan facing the problem today because of radicalization in 70s.

Secularism doesn't automatically mean peace. Don't confuse on that matter.
Like extremist it don't generate a huge army of intolerant people.
Malaysia still maintains Islamic values in its constitution. Do we see instability and violence? In fact, it is the most stable nation in South East Asia.
Their problem is more ethnic in nature. The Bumiputra law discriminating Indians and Chinese. But they too have issues with radicalization.

Even Turkey is orange

Because of Kurdish separatist movement by PKK. Not related to Secularism.

Eastwatch whenever he does not have valid argument to back up his tall claim, has habit of labeling others as "extremist" "Jamati", "rajakar" and what not. He had done that with me as well.
Interesting yet, he is showing growing allergy toward the Holy Quran and Islam.

And, you have the habit of propagating all ant-Islamic thinking as Islamic.

you being a awami malun should just STFU. Living in japan and lecturing a bangladeshi about his/her own country you Sake drinking fool.

You see how you guy yourself become an extremist with a fellow Muslim who does not agree to your biased opinion. This is why all Islamic extremists must be purged and thrown to BoB. You can have another noble option, you can go to Afghanistan to learn how extremism has left no pluralism in that country. You yourself are exactly same though, but, better go and you will find someone will kill you there because he may not like your opinion. So, the GoB must protect its citizens from being bullied by the Jamaatis like you. By the way, did you like Sake, was it tasty?

Before that.

They did have a secular Communist government, and were unbelievably oppressive. Their heads were brutally executed.

Their problem is more ethnic in nature. The Bumiputra law discriminating Indians and Chinese. But they too have issues with radicalization.

Who cares? It's their country, their laws, and they are stable. I have presented the facts.

Because of Kurdish separatist movement by PKK. Not related to Secularism.

It's still violence and instability irregardless of religion or secularism!

Good god...are you for real?

Are you an extremist or something? Luffy is much, much younger than you.

Now, where were we?

Nice propaganda by Bangladeshi opposition by putting a man at the corner with Ashoka Chakra on his arm.

If people themselves believe that their religion cannot allow a dominion of kufr, then to hell with people who believe in that religion...

It seems to them Kufr are not people but cattle..
