The united Pakistan certainly utilized its resources. Why do you think BD could not utilize its resources. Among hundred others, BD had built a few fertilizer factories, steel mill, paper mills, cable factory, many tens of jute mills. IRRI rice was introduced in BD in the late 1960s and was supported by the fertilizer factories. All the Zlaa roads, 17 govt. Polytechnic Institutes, many Universities among many others were built before 1971. Read about Kaptai Dam and power project. When it was built? How about the 2nd Capital? So, do not just talk something that shows your ignorance. Better learn the pre-1971 development history.I am aware but the point is that BD did not have the chance to utilise It's own resources fully till 1971.
India has had 24 more years where it was the master of It's own destiny.
Our development history certainly started in 1947, when BD had only one factory, to be named. That is Mohini Mills in Kushtia. So, why can you deny all those mills & factories, roads and bridges that were built before 1971?
