Also BAF's own technicians are capable of carry out various kind of modifications themselves. For Example BAF used American helmets on F-7, BAF technicians carried out modifications to enable the aircraft to support those helmets.
Another example is BAF's older Mil Mi 17 helicopters were retrofitted with French communication systems from Fuga majister trainers. Once a com onboard a mi 17 broke down. Due to spare shortage, techies completely replaced with a com system from an old fuga majister. They realised it work better than the original, so they replaced all of the com system of all mi 17 with the Fuga majister's com system.


There is comprehensive solutions available. For instance recently inducted Type 56 corvettes were integrated into BN's Combat Management & integrated network which is a Thales designed system. Type 56B carries an datalink equivalent to western Link 16.

There is no comprehensive solution for dual type data link for fighter jets which can communicate with western link-16 & Russian or Chinese data link, that is why Pakistan developed its own solution for this problem.

Block-2/3 are not cheap birds even block-2 have western ECM and Targeting pod which J-10 don't have now.

J-10 & JFT have pros and cons but there is not huge difference between them and BD version will be water down one as China knows how close India is with BD.

Nobody buys water down ones. There are certain restriction according to international treaty which certain items with certain range can not be sold. There are also some technological secrets and mode of operation which a country does not want to reveal to anybody even to the allies for practical reason. But anything that can be sold to PK, can be sold to BD as well. Rest assured.

India has even bigger problems with china according to your politicians. You don't just send warships to another countries sea when millions go hungry in your own country.

Those who don't know to distinguish defence needs from feeding or the proper budgetary allocation for defense or food programmes shouldn't speak without knowledge.

Our problem with China isn't ideological. We don't care if they are communist or atheist or not. It is geographic in nature. That's all.

Your issue with Myanmar is quasi-religious and demography oriented which is loosely tied to ideology.

The possibility of a war between the first two is much more remote than you and Myanmar.

Kindly google about it, even US F-35 will be different from the ones sold to its closest allies, Russia also do the same but they allow India to induct 3rd Party equipment (which is also water down version of original), German U-212 is superior to export version U214.

J 10B is cleared for export. PLAAF has more advance J 10C & semi stealh J 10D in pipeline.

The issue with PAF was completely different from what you said. It's silly to say China will deny Pakistan any technology other than very crucial to China's own security, which J 10A wasn't.

The issue was PAF wasn't on same page with Musharraf on it. J 10A didn't offer PAF any new capabilities over F 16. So PAF decided that spending money on a new platform on the same weight category is unnecessary. So they go with Jf 17 which gives them same capabilities as J10 in the lightweight category. Ask any knowledgeable Pak member, they will say the same.
Another one was engine issue. J10 used an Saturn engine which Russia didn't cleared China to export to third country. Same issue with Jf 17, which Pakistan solved later.
In case of BAF there is no issue like those. Russia will happily accept royaliti for engines or directly sell engines, since they are also selling Su 30 to BAF. J 10 B will be some extra bonus for Russians. And not to mention China now has their own engine to offer.


We have nothing against anyone. If burma gov. rest with their lunacy & provocation & act civil, their is no issue.


Demographic issues will be addressed in civil manner in accordance to international law & diplomatic procedures. The sooner our burman friends realise that it's futile to provoke BD & starts acting sanely & civilly, the better for them.

I know that the third party clause for engine re-sale was initially refused by Russia. However, that didn't stop them from selling the engines for JF-17s.

These technical things can always be worked out.

My point is, China doesn't only have one friend in the name of Pakistan. There are many other countries that have good relations with China and can afford to buy J-10s. For example, Egyptians have the money to buy J-10s but still they weren't offered that. Later on, they went for Rafales instead. Sure, it is their choice. But offering a platform is important in first place.

Latin American countries have good ties with China. Recently, Serbia was also on-board to buy the J-10 but didn't get them.

Please don't tell me others didn't show interest. China is very good at marketing their products. Also their lack of political strings means that many countries would have armed happily with J-10s. And these countries buy arms from Russia as well which means Russians would have no trouble in allowing re-sale contracts to any of these other countries.
