the same attitude which you are showing to your Muslims today had changed him.
Ah so he learnt that in Europe and Middle East. Hmm ok.

You know I agree with your point, I have a bias against Muslims and I won't lie about it. I belong to Punjab of partition times, the bloodshed we show no other community witnessed it beside Bengal.

Ofcourse ... A call for prayer (for muslims) is so insulting & humiliating for Hindus nationalist... I bet you are forced to pray and scolded and humiliated for mispronouncing namaz infront of thousands of people. Now they know how hindus feel 5 times daily...
He is NOT forced to sing it. He is allowed to stay out of it. But the parents are fighting so that the pagan words don't reach the ears of their child. Such families should be encouraged to leave the country.
ouch, not good growing up
but yeah, civvies too.. one of my friends' dad was in nhpc and posted in Kashmir, got a signed letter from a mujahideen commander saying "pack up and leave" or sending body parts back to family... all for engineering a dam.
yaay jihad

I have studied him thoroughly and his transformation as well his personality but am not feeling well at the moment so cant indulge in detailed serious discussion on that
Same as other students praying is intolerable to this muslim student. I am sure his ears were burning when he was sitting inside class room alone after being granted exception from prayers.. can't hear "infidel" prayers..
I don't know about things on your side of border and I won't guess it either. But the friction you see on our side between hindus and muslims is because, the vote bank politics/appeasement of muslims on expense of hindus has made us switch to the far right.I will say even the generations at our side did face all that . But I also feel that partition has not much to do with current day hate between communities on both sides but the warmongering media/platforms. You are a new generation so am I we did not see the bloodshed neither those stories are as common as bollywood or hollywood stories
I went to a convent school... They had Christian prayers but we wernt "forced" to sing em... They celebrated Christian holidays with zeal (we celebrated with them).. But we weren't forced in anyway,..Sharing some experience. I am in NCR and studied in convent school as well but no student or teacher really took religion that seriously. Maybe its just my school. However, Christmas was celebrated with full fervour, with students's play on Jesus's birth and all. Didn't felt anything against my religion though, and mostly students were Hindu.
Ps. Some of the prayers we used to sing i remember....
"Ae maalik tere bande hum"
"O mother India, we are your children"
"Teri hai zameen, tera aasman"
And class used to start with National pledge. And English was mandatory.
Or maybe his ears and tongue were burning when he was forced to say hibdu prayers .. And humiliated infront of 1200 students for mispronouncing a Sanskrit word?
Or maybe his mother was humiliated when she sas told that her so was becoming a terrorist abd snide remark of the principal about the student being from a muslim dominated area??
Maybe if you wernt an idiot you would have atleast read the article before vomiting crap?? Maybe... I'm asking too much..

From article - "The only thing they managed to achieve was an exemption for Kashimji who can now sit in his class while the assembly is on.
"But that is not good enough. Why can't they go back to the old prayer which had no religion in it? Fourteen of the 32 students in my class are Muslims. There are people from other religions too. At least 30% of the school is Muslim. Why should I sit separately?" he asked
Guess what the "incident" was D-bag... Cuz you aren't just blind but pretty stupid aswell.Kashimji, who is also the head boy of his school, said the incident has "hurt his pride"."
Who is the idiot who did not read the article?

In that case you were involved in that bloodshed and were offenders not defenders considering the fact that what was than "Punjab" and today "Haryana" was a majority hindu region with a small muslim minority all of which today resides in Pak... Apart from 1 odd town which was ruled by a Muslim Nawab and didn't saw any bloodshed due to your own Hoky personalities "blessing" it etx?
Taking things out of context Huh? That's his mothers remark after she was humiliated by the principal and her son was humiliated and forced to sing hindu prayers!

You are wrong vakil sahab. My grand father did save two families back in those days, now they are 70 + in our own village. Heck they rebuild the old mosque in the adjoining village for jumma prayers. In that case you were involved in that bloodshed and were offenders not defenders considering the fact that what was than "Punjab" and today "Haryana" was a majority hindu region with a small muslim minority all of which today resides in Pak...
