Bangalore Muslim boy asked to re

Comprehension disability has no cure.. how hard is to comprehend the issue at hand is that boy not able to tolerate hindu prayer at school even though he is exempt from it? or the word "comprehend" is too much sophisticated for you?

Yeah I'm sure... The boy's pride was hurt and he was shocked because he heard the prayers and not the fact that he was forced to say hindu prayers or got scolded infront of 1200 students for mispronouncing a Sanskrit word... Or the fact that he was labeled a terrorist or the abide remarks of him belonging to a muslim area...

who is biased due to the bloodshed of 47?

Then the right thing to do is seek justice for that mis-treatment meted out to him and be done with that.. no need to cry a river...

I'm sure that's exactly what his mother tried to do and got insulted with snide remarks and getting her son labelled as a terrorist from bhatkal.

umm... no. You don't seek justice from the perpetrator of the crime, you go to police/courts. They can't do it now because the school has restored his rights as he is exempt from assembly. Rest muslim students are not but they don't have any issues either. All they are trying to do now is to cry river to remove the prayer from school assembly...

I dont know how much you will believe this but being a hindu, i have been more to gurudawaras n darghas than I ever been to mandir. In our part of India we revere gogaji peer more than anyone else.

I remember such threats ... my dad was posted in dabwali, around 1989-90 and that was the first time I ever saw armed guards surrounding our house. Sh!t was real back then.
my friends 'dad was in Uri, incident was in late 90s

Maybe his father was involved in crimes against humanity like rape, torture, humiliation, mass killings, kidnappings and occupation of a region.. :(

I went to a convent school... They had Christian prayers but we wernt "forced" to sing em... They celebrated Christian holidays with zeal (we celebrated with them).. But we weren't forced in anyway,..
good thing you didn't make like a butthurt little jihadi brat and refuse to partake in the festivities or the padres might have punished you for it too :P

.
Depends on the country. If it's in India I would prefer the Jesuit school to be Graham Stained. In other countries, I would comply.

i can't decide if you are joking or really taking real advantage of acche din.

.
My question remains will you also happily participate in Muslim prayer?

Why not ?
Had it been a Muslim way instead of convent I would have been participate in it happily.
Religion is not a first hand thing for Hindus.

Nobody was forced .. Not was I forced ( or insulted) to read Bible (which isn't a big deal coz Islam encourages muslims to study ither religions )... My teacher (muslim) had bible, geeta etc and he placed then with Quran as a sign of respect for other religions..

Religion in schools needs to be forbidden in the first place!!!

sorry rest of india doesnt want to be like Kerala, with no soul and identity and with a glass of liquor and beef fry.

so you will support a convent if it rusticated a student for refusing convent prayers??

i will tell the hindus not to go to convents.

considering yo would have studied in pakistan, how did your teacher keep a copy of the Bhagwad Gita, seems unbelievable.

1.) This nonsense happens in Kerala too. Schools are a place of reason and logic, not religion. They need to be open and neutral to students to all faiths.

like Kerala, with no soul and identity and with a glass of liquor and beef fry.

You are either ignorant or totally brainwashed and stupid.

there are many good private ones better than the convents.

that "many" is now... earlier, other than the convents, the good ones were those posh schools in dehradun or shima or the military ones or the kendriya vidyalayas.

though i did my schooling in a sikh run institute which was also good.
