Really beautiful pics, you guys have pics of historical buildings (forts, palaces) from Seljuk, Mongol era? I wanna see the traditional architecture of Azerbaidjan. I noted one mosque before that was very similar to the Ottoman Mosque meaning it had tall slim minarets and that light blue dome. Beautiful mashallah.

There is "Old City" in Baku that remains from middle ages and are surrended by walls.

Our Azeri brother has posted amaizing views of major buildings, land marks, and the old city in beautiful Baku.

If he would post the internal art, the fine arts that the Azeri people engage in, and practice, you will see another dimension!

Its not similar to the fine Islamic art of Multan, but is more majestic!

Muslim nations are such beautiful nations, alhamdulilAllah

The courtyard in the old city, the mihrab resembles Seljuq style, but I am not sure.

If anyone noticed, those are graves in the courtyard, very typical.

Similar you can find in old sites in Thatta.

Dear Azeri brother, where can I study more about the differences between Kypchak, Seljuq, and the history of the Azeri nation?

I have heard a lot about the glory of Shirvan.

Perhaps you can find alot over internet.

Beautiful pictures. Thank you to the thread poster. An impressive infrastructure promise considering that it has been a former Soviet state.
