The keyword here is poverty rather than religion. No one poor can have their rights asserted in today's capitalistic society. Money talks. At least India does not discriminate between poor of one religion or the other. Nor does it discriminate between the rich of one religion or the other.

Indian muslims once adored pakistan,now they're having second thoughts about a country created due to religious believes.u'll find lots of muslim girls getting educated and the the segregation is narrowing.No mullas or jehadis can stop them getting good education in INDIA !!!

Unlike the descrimination that is going on in the west against muslims, in india the hate politics are on the decline.. nobody can win an election in india raising religion. People are sick of it. That explains why we have kept BJP out of power. Because the politics of 1990's are not relevant in todays time, with globalisation, no body has time to go behind frivilious religious issues and all are concentrated on bettering their lives and the country..!!! Well bad apples are still a curse of any country but i think we do have less of em with respect to religoius fanatism compared to the past century.

India as a secular democracy where freedom of speech is by itself guarenteed by the constituation, is open to scruitny by the world, these incidents have affected our consience and there have been large scale open debate on these issues, and in all the secular forces and voices have come out strong.. these have had a prfound effect in the thinking of the modern youth who dosent care much about religion..!!! So if these incidents have happend in india, we have debated,evaluated and generated a general opinion in tandem with the secular principles of india which have influenced our majority of youth..!!!
